The Senior Learning Architect - Transport is responsible for working directly with potential and current Transport clients to understand their needs and shape learning and development products and solutions that will deliver measurable impacts and value-for-money outcomes aligned to client’s strategic priorities.
The Senior Learning Architect must work with senior public sector staff, business leaders, suppliers, and other stakeholders across team and client boundaries to leverage internal knowledge and external leading practices to design innovative and impactful learning products and services.
The Senior Learning Architect will either have a strong track record of developing learning solutions and services to a variety of large clients or deep experience of working within the Transport industries that is focused on people and workforce challenges
The Senior Learning Architect will excel at working directly with client stakeholders and senior leadership. A demonstrable understanding of behavioural science and the latest academic research and applied practice on learning and development are highly desirable.
The Senior Learning Architect must embody KPMG’s values, act as a role model, and build commitment and belief toward the accomplishment of the team’s goals.

Role and Responsibilities
— Leading on senior stakeholder relations, personally developing Learning Architectures and leading transformation initiatives
— Responsible for identifying pursuing and shaping large learning opportunities including leading bids, shaping solutions and building relationship and market share
— Work with client teams, and connected learning to develop and shape transport specific proposals and IP.
— Lead the mobilisation and delivery of large transport specific learning programmes.
— Engage with senior customer and business leaders and stakeholders on a business outcomes basis. Then act as expert partners to help them envisage and architect how learning and development delivers to these
— Based on outcomes, work with external and internal subject matter experts to scope the opportunity including define themes, and specify value propositions
— Architect and design learning strategies and blueprints for customers
— Provide effective briefings and handover for KPMG teams and consortia partners to deliver successfully
— In a business development and pre-sales capacity deliver towards commercial targets and value for money for the public sector by understanding and informing scope
— Providing strategic solutions and direction for Connected Learning.
— Articulate messages to a variety of audiences, through a variety of marketing channels and influence at a senior level
— Prioritise work and to meet deadlines in a demanding environment
— Adopt a flexible approach to working arrangements and the ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
— Be comfortable making decisions independently, informing and consulting others regularly on relevant matters
— Work with discretion due to the sensitive nature of the role
— Forward looking with a holistic approach and be good at problem solving and root cause identification skills.
— Supporting account managers and business development managers to validate learning opportunities
— Build repeatable and contextualised programmes based on a core curriculum
— Define impact analysis based on outcomes and work with evaluation and MI teams to deliver



— L&D expertise including a thorough knowledge of what good learning looks like and a deep understanding of current and developing learning interventions that are available in the marketplace.
— Proven expertise in building, to outline design stage, learning solutions that meet client’s business requirements
