Job Purpose

Responsible for sourcing and managing assessors for the KPMG Graduate, Undergraduate and Apprentice assessment centres, the Assessor Liaison Assistant Manager role plays a key part in a team that is dedicated to ensuring KPMG’s student recruitment process is leading within its industry. The Assistant Manager will ensure that they provide an efficient, high quality, client focused service for the business and deal with end to end assessor administration for the KPMG Student Recruitment team Launch Pad assessment events.

• Oversees assessor coordination for Graduate, Apprentice and Undergraduate recruitment ensuring we have a readily available pool of business support for interviewing and assessing.
• Scheduling regular calls with business stakeholders to update them on Assessor numbers and escalating any issues to the Management team.
• Working closely with IDSE to ensure a diverse assessor representation across all capabilities.
• Managing the end to end administration of assessor sourcing and keeping all records up to date.
• Providing innovative and proactive solutions to tracking assessors.
• Acting as the main point of contact to deal with assessor issues on the day of and the lead up to Graduate, Apprentice and Work Experience Launch Pads.
• Build effective and long-term links within the Student Recruitment management team and with the business/programme leads to ensure that assessor requirements are met.
• Working closely with the wider Student Recruitment team to monitor candidate pipelines to ensure the number of Assessors are matched according to requirements.
• Supporting with the management of Graduate and Apprentice pipelines as required and ensuring candidates are being managed throughout the process within SLAs.
• Provide regular and robust MI and reporting.
• Project management of ad hoc Launch Pad and Student Recruitment related activities as required.
• Ensuring all assessors are provided with the relevant training, materials and information to uphold excellence and integrity of selection processes.

• Working with Officers and Coordinators across the team to ensure the successful implementation of relevant recruitment projects nationally.

The Person
• Experience in the student recruitment marketplace with a good understanding of recruitment operations/candidate management.
• Strong knowledge of KPMG as a business with pre-existing stakeholder relationships is preferred.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience in managing time sensitive and changeable projects/tasks.
• Strong experience in negotiating and persuading senior stakeholders.
• Resilient - comfortable in pushing back and escalating issues.
• Proven track record of developing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a confident presenter.
• Strategic and analytical thinker.
• Good IT skills including Excel, Power Point, databases and internet research.
• Flexibility to work within a fast-paced environment.
• Forward thinking and proactive approach.
• Self-motivated to work autonomously and also a good team player with the ability to adapt to change quickly and positively.

Whilst this role is a hybrid of office and home based, you will be required to travel to KPMG offices and some events around the country – this will require overnight stays on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year.
