Role Overview
The Senior Manager will lead a team of associate recruiters to identify and supply KPMG’s contingent workforce, ensuring talent pools are able to meet the demand of our multidisciplinary firm.

This is a high-profile role that will require extensive stakeholder management, working with the Direct Supply Chain, Capability and Coverage leadership teams to understand future demand and coordinate recruitment team sourcing strategies accordingly.

The incumbent will also be responsible for ensuring governance, systems and controls are implemented that manage risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.

The Senior Manager – Contingent Hire will provide an efficient, high quality, client focused service for applicants and the business alike. This role has recently seen the transition from a fully outsourced RPO model to an inhouse recruitment team so further embedding the service delivery is a critical component of this role.

- Accountable for all contingent hire activity, including line management of a team of associate recruiters
- Build and manage KPMG contingent talent pools across each capability group, to include associates, alumni and trusted contractors
- Liaise with leadership groups across the firm to understand business drivers and future demand, and identify resources ahead of time
- Relationship management of external resourcing agencies to augment internal capabilities.
- Establish new policies and process to support the delivery of resource to engagements, while managing risk profile
- Implementation and maintenance of market leading digital platforms to support the identification and management of talent pools
- Support/Own key strategic projects aligned to talent acquisition within KPMG

The Person
- Experienced leader with demonstrable track record in contingent hiring/ talent acquisition
- A highly effective leader with strong interpersonal skills
- Sound business acumen with a working understanding professional services commercial model
- Strong technical understanding of relevant regulatory and legal requirements linked to talent acquisition
- Excellent relationship building and management skills
- Successfully managing a diverse group of stakeholders often with conflicting requirements
- Seen as an effective and persuasive communicator who seeks insight into the business and acts as an expert advisor
- Understands and champions the importance of data integrity, timely and accurate reporting and uses this information to run efficient processes
- Demonstrates innovation in approach to problem solving and delivering service
- Collaborative team player driving inclusion, leads by example, seeks continuous improvement from self
- Strong networker with excellent market knowledge
- Adapts well to an ever-changing landscape, demonstrates resilience, flexibility and energy
- Commercially minded with a focus on the business aims, proven negotiation skills in dealing with suppliers
- Experience of recruiting volume campaigns as well as unique roles and the variances in between
- Knowledge of recruitment systems, knowledge of Excel
- Experience of working within agreed HR policies and processes
