Job DescriptionBackground

The Risk Reporting Team is part of Quality and Risk Management (‘QRM’), which is responsible for monitoring the firm’s and its people’s compliance with the firm’s professional risk management and quality control policies, procedures and guidance. Furthermore, QRM works with the wider Quality and Risk community and across the KPMG network to share knowledge, and to develop and improve processes and procedures in response to emerging regulatory, business and other requirements.
The Risk Reporting Team is responsible for ensuring upward risk reporting to leadership is effective across the firm and that it provides suitable analysis of trends for senior stakeholders within the firm. This involves extensive interaction with all parts of the firm to provide facilitation and challenge.
The Role

This role will involve:
- Coordinating and managing the scheduled reporting cycle, including looking for ways to enhance the process as it continues to evolve.
- Helping with designing and establishing the risk reporting process across all parts of the firm.
- Producing regular reports, in line with the agreed reporting cycle.
- Analysing data for trends and making recommendations based on findings.
- Carrying out ad hoc analysis/reporting as required.
- Supporting other members of the Risk Reporting team with ad hoc tasks as required.
- Developing a network of key contacts across the firm.

- The ability to interpret information and identify issues.
- High level of attention to detail is essential.
- The confidence to challenge the status-quo and provide fresh ideas.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
