Role and Responsibilities

The Quality & Compliance Manager sits in the IT Quality Team which operates within Service Integration and Governance, IT Services. The IT Quality team are responsible for ensuring the compliance of IT Services with GDPR, ISO27001 Information Security and ISO20000 Service Management, as well as the firm wide controls and standards agreed with KPMG International (and locally) which are designed to meet Client and Regulatory requirements.

The role requires close co-operation with all members of IT Services, its suppliers (some of which are located overseas) and working with security stakeholders outside of IT Services such as Quality & Risk Management.

The responsibilities of the role include:

- Ensure security compliance of IT Services and suppliers to ISO27001, Key Controls and KPMGs Information Security Management Policies by conducting audits and identifying risks and areas for improvement
- Ensure IS Service Management compliance to IT Services and suppliers to ISO20000 by conducting audits and identifying risks and areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance to GDPR by conducting Data Privacy audits and identifying risks and areas for improvement
- Manage non-conformances, ensuring that they are tracked to completion and reported on as required
- To represent IT Services for GDPR and Data Privacy related projects
- Ensure that DSARs (Data Subject Access Requests) are managed and completed within SLA
- Support third party and client audits in relation to IT Services Information Security where required
- Standardisation of IT Policies, Processes and Procedures including alignment to best practices such as ITIL
- Ensure that standard Quality documentation is created and maintained including audit templates and collateral
- Maintain and manage the IT Services eQMS/SMS to ensure that IT Services core documentation is managed and regularly reviewed in line with KPMG policies
- To drive a process improvement approach for all teams who design, deliver and provide IT services to KPMG business users

Experience and Background

- Demonstrable experience working in an IT Service Operations environment
- ISO20000/ISO27001 auditing experience
- ITIL v3 foundation certificate or above
- People Management experience
- Experience in Data Protection and legal compliance (knowledge of GDPR would be an advantage)
- Ability to determine good practice and identify opportunities for improvement
- Risk Management knowledge and experience
- Experience of producing process and procedure documentation
- Ability to develop and leverage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Self-motivated, working independently, managing own workload
- Working knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, data analysis and reporting
- Experienced in a wide base of technology and toolsets
- Ethical, with the ability to remain impartial and report all non-compliances
- Organisational skills with attention to detail
- Flexible and willing to travel overseas on business
