Roles and responsibilities:
The scope of the role includes:
• Review of contractors and new role assessments with respect to IR35 compliance.
• Supporting with the review of KPMG’s PAYE Settlement Agreement (PSA) and other related employment tax reporting.
• Assist with the review of termination payments and preparation of reports for submission to HMRC.
• Assist with P11D tax compliance review.
• UK Employment tax advisory to the business.
• International employment tax and social security advice to the business.
• Liaising with and obtaining advice from other KPMG member firms on local employer reporting requirements and personal tax compliance and implementing the same.
• Supporting with ad hoc tax compliance projects as and when required.
• Training tax analysts and first review of their analysis.
Qualifications and skills:
The successful candidate will require the following skills:
Extensive experience of practical employment and expatriate tax experience.
• Strong employment tax and/or expatriate tax technical skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• High level of analytical skills and a commercial approach to resolving issues and delivering services.
• Strong interpersonal skills in addition to strong oral and written communication skills.
• ATT/CTA/ACA qualified (preferred).
