Working in the KPMG Deal Advisory Tax Group and focusing specifically on providing tax advice in connection with UK and international transactions. We work alongside our clients and our colleagues in Transaction Services on transactions varying in size, providing tax structuring and tax due diligence services. The team works across all sectors ranging from financial services, infrastructure, consumer industrial markets and private equity. The role will involve working on a wide range of projects and clients.

Job Description

We are looking for one entry-level candidate to join our team in the North as an Assistant in the M&A Tax department; we are a flexible team and whilst your home office can be either Manchester, or Leeds and you will have the opportunity to work across any of our North offices. The role would involve working as part of the M&A Tax team on projects for our clients, involving the following:

• Providing tax structuring, tax due diligence and restructuring advice on a wide range of transactions
• Co-ordinating the advice provided by other overseas KPMG teams and other tax skillsets
• Working closely with colleagues in Transaction Services
• Developing relationships with the client, Transaction Services and overseas teams
• Understanding the client's business and helping to identify areas for the provision of tax and other services
• Being involved in business development activity
