The Global Entity Management Team sits within Legal Services, KPMG Tax. Its establishment flows naturally from KPMG’s long history of successfully delivering multidisciplinary services to clients. Its vision is to be the corporate secretarial adviser of choice for KPMG’s clients in relation to compliance and governance matters.

Over the next few years, this team will grow and Legal Services as a whole will expand into other areas of law that fit within its vision and the needs of KPMG’s clients.

What the key responsibilities of the role are:





Project managing the overall delivery of outsourced corporate secretarial projects for our clients, including managing a portfolio of your own clients and supervising junior team members, overseeing the provision of services for their clients





Acting as relationship manager for your portfolio of clients, including regular communications, hosting update calls/meetings and obtaining/reviewing feedback for improvement in services





Supporting clients with the coordination of more complex multi-jurisdictional projects





Coordinating our international network firms to ensure delivery of our services to required standards for our clients. Working to identify and resolve issues and establish and maintain best practice.





Lead the business development process including progressing opportunities, pitching and taking responsibility for contract negotiation and agreement





Working with other team members to develop marketable service propositions





Ensure strong working relationships, both with clients and colleagues alike





Line managing junior team members as well as providing coaching and technical support for other team members





Managing the risk and commercial aspects involved in the delivery of services including financial, planning and governance aspects





Identify opportunities to deliver additional support for clients on specialist subjects, including delivering training sessions





Follow KPMG best practice and policy

Education and qualifications:

- The applicant will have achieved a 2:1 or higher degree qualification in a relevant degree discipline.
- In addition, the applicant may have achieved a project management qualification (such as PRINCE 2), although this is not a requirement.






Skills and Experience Required:





Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the company secretarial profession, supporting a wide range of corporate secretarial tasks for a large portfolio of clients





Strong technical knowledge of international corporate secretarial matters and processes





Confidence to be able to quickly establish credibility with clients;





Excellent verbal and written communication skills that can be tailored to a variety of audiences;





Proven track record of project management and leadership skills – will be able to manage teams to deliver projects, even under pressure;





Proven track record of people management





Experienced in understanding and mitigating the risks and financials associated with client engagements;





Excellent analytical skills and problem solving, self-motivation and possess an enquiring mind;





A high degree of integrity and the drive and willingness to succeed;





Strong team ethos and ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.





Good working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
