The Global Entity Management Team sits within KPMG Law. Its establishment flows naturally from KPMG’s long history of successfully delivering multidisciplinary services to clients. What the key responsibilities of the role are:

- A senior manager in the Global Entity Management team, responsible for the delivery of UK company secretarial services to our clients.
- Project managing the overall delivery of outsourced corporate secretarial projects for our clients, including managing a portfolio of your own clients and supervising junior team members, overseeing the provision of services for their clients
- Managing our core annual service and ad hoc support services for a broad portfolio of clients, with the support of a junior member of the team
- Acting as key relationship manager for the UK’s portfolio of clients.
- Reviewing legal documents and Companies House forms prepared by junior team members relating to annual filing requirements and routine company changes
- Supporting clients and internal colleagues with complex company secretarial matters, including changes to share capital structure, share capital reductions, dividends and company restorations
- Working alongside our corporate legal teams to support with the corporate secretarial aspects of complex corporate transactions
- Providing board and committee support to clients from a wide range of sectors, including the use of board portal systems
- Providing training to company secretaries/directors of clients on a variety of topics
- Leading on a wide range of governance and advisory projects, for example, framework and process reviews or drafting s172 statements for clients annual reports and accounts
- Drafting and inputting on legislative and governance related updates to be circulated to clients and internal colleagues
- Preparing proposal documents and developing opportunities with clients
- Supporting and leading on business development initiatives internally and externally to drive team growth
- Supervising and training junior team members to help support their development and overall quality management of our service
- Ensuring risk processes are adhered to for our client engagements
- Ensure strong working relationships, both with clients and colleagues alike

Education and qualifications:

- The applicant will ideally have achieved a 2:1 or higher degree qualification in a relevant degree discipline, such as Accounting, Business or Law.

- Qualified Charted Secretary with the ICSA or equivalent.

Skills and Experience Required:

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the company secretarial profession and able to demonstrate the following:
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate secretarial matters and processes
- Confidence to be able to quickly establish credibility with clients
- Experienced in providing board and committee support
- Experienced in supervising and training junior colleagues
- Ideally experienced in the use of Diligent software and other legal entity databases
- The applicant will have good working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven track record of people management
- Strong organisational, attention to detail and personal skills are essential. Proven track record of project management and leadership skills – will be able to manage teams to deliver projects, even under pressure
