A successful applicant will have experience of project managing workstreams across a full project lifecycle. This also includes experience of integrating into wider project or organisation governance routines as required. The successful applicant may have qualifications and/or accreditation in recognised project/programme management methodologies or professional bodies.

Key Attributes
We expect you will have:
• A natural interest in technology, being passionate about the benefits that technology can bring
• Demonstrable experience of applying project/programme management methodologies and ideally holding accreditation within waterfall / agile project management delivery (e.g. Prince 2, MSP, APM, SAFe Agile, Certified Scrum Master)
• Strong experience in the use of project management tools (e.g. MS Project, JIRA)
• Proven experience of successfully contributing to complex technology projects in a commercial environment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work
• Business analysis experience (e.g. requirements definition, process mapping, operating model definition), systems integration, systems implementation, testing
• Proven ability to work at sustained levels of high intensity and inspire drive and resilience in others
• Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
• An ability to develop relationships both internally and with clients at a senior level
• High energy levels, coupled with a desire to deliver to a high standard in tight timeframes
• A self-motivating mindset and also to be able to inspire and motivate others
• Strong leadership skills, with a track record in the management of teams and delivery of projects.
• Confidence in dealing with complexity and ambiguity - setting direction and engaging stakeholders
• A genuine interest and desire to work in the public sector – previous experience of working in this sector is preferred though not essential.

Key Skills and Experience sought:
• A track record of shaping and leading successful delivery of technology, data and business transformation initiatives
• Adept at working closely with business, technology and data teams
• Experience of managing projects, co-ordinating tasks and activities, managing to deadlines, anticipating challenges, difficulties and pressure points
• Experience of identifying and mitigating delivery risks, as well as leading the resolution of issues / blockers
• Experience in managing third party vendors and providers
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage programme / project planning and reporting activity
• Experience in robust and business relevant project reporting at all levels
• An ability to provide clarity around priorities and goals of programme
• An ability to protect against scope creep against the solution design and establishes robust change control processes
• An ability to manage project costs, including the establishment of baseline costs and tracking, and contingency planning
• An ability to support project assurance/reviews
• A focus on delivery excellence and an ability to naturally adapt our delivery approach as required
• To be seen amongst peers as a role model and SME in hybrid - agile/waterfall project management approaches
• An ability to coach the organisation and key stakeholders relating to the benefits and advantages of relevant programme / project methodologies
• An ability to coach and guide other team members relating to every aspect of the programme and/or project so that the team members can understand their tasks fully and act on them efficiently
• An ability to identify all internal/external resources required to complete programmes successfully
• An ability to forecast resource utilisation, time, costs and other commitments required
• An understanding of relevant legislation, governance models and processes
• Experience in horizon scanning to keep an eye on the latest strategies, tools, terminologies used in project management and relevant technology development
• Willingness to participate in sales and contribute to winning engagements.
