The Brand and Attraction CoE is a small team of marketing specialists within Recruitment, and as an Experienced Hire Marketing Manager you’ll be a senior member of the team, working closely alongside Recruiters to deliver candidate marketing solutions for business stakeholders. The role requires a strategic, commercial and client centric SME, passionate about all-things employer brand, who is outcomes driven and thrives on working in a complex and fast changing environment.

Responsibilities
- Accountable through line manager (Head of Brand & Attraction) for understanding mid-long-term Experienced Hire recruitment strategy and targets, budgets, challenges and barriers to growth with a view to building effective campaigns that will deliver on these ambitions.
- You’ll work with external suppliers, building effective relationships, and be responsible for writing quality briefs (creative and media), campaign development and leadership to maintain a market leading competitive position.
- Creative lead for experienced hire campaigns – ensuring strategic drivers such as our mission, our values, EVP, Inclusion, Diversity and Social Equality (IDSE) and talent motivators are strategically built into briefing and drive quality creative outcomes.
- Comfortable networking - building long-lasting and collaborative relationships – both internally (clients and cross-functional teams) and with external partners.
- • Accountable for developing a pro-active presence in the market that demonstrates an understanding of the key target audiences.
- Act as an ambassador for our values and driving inclusion, ensuring IDSE is built into everything you do - driving effective/innovative attraction solutions to meet targets, profiling KPMG’s diverse careers offering, people and IDSE ambitions.
- Lead and champion direct sourcing solutions and develop innovative strategies to build a suite of marketing collateral for Recruiters to use in direct engagement/attraction. You’ll also up-skill and train colleagues in attraction techniques as part of this work.
- Build effective and active colleague ambassadors’ communities to support recruitment.
- Responsible for actively seeking out and utilising new attraction solutions, cutting edge technology, social media, partnerships etc. (where it makes sense) to open up new ways of attracting diverse talent and achieving a market leading position.
- Lead in channel strategy planning, development and management.
- Build recognition and positive profile of Brand and Attraction CoE internally, and externally through attendance at events, leadership articles etc.
Knowledge/Experience
- Substantial Employer Brand/Recruitment Marketing experience gained in highly complex organisations dealing with multiple layers of stakeholders. Professional Services background or a knowledge of this specialist market would be advantageous.
- Ability to write high quality creative briefs, succinctly capturing the requirements, and be a high impact communicator leading and inspiring colleagues and suppliers through the creative process to deliver value-driven fantastic outcomes.
- Experience of budget management – commercially minded with responsibility for delivering effective campaigns within strict budgetary confines.
- Demonstrable broad technical knowledge e.g. web/UX, digital and social marketing techniques, programmatic, storytelling, film, podcasts, photography etc.
- Maximising performance metrics and insights to build effective solutions and optimise campaigns to ensure strategy is providing value on ROI.
- High impact communicator who can successfully manage and influence a diverse group of (often senior) stakeholders who may have conflicting requirements.
- Ability to operate at a strategic level, yet still having the ability to understand granular detail to make informed recommendations and, if required, get stuck in.
- Collaborative leadership style driving inclusion, leads by example, seeks continuous improvement of team and self. Proactive approach and self-motivated to work independently, while also able to work well in a close-knit team.
- Resilient and performs well in a high-performance environment, responds well to change, can multitask and work efficiently against deadlines.
- Dynamic networker with excellent market knowledge.

- Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritise and direct resources to drive results.
- Effective computer skills (including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Word)
Operational
- Data-led you’ll be responsible using performance metrics and insights to build effective solutions and optimise campaigns to ensure strategy is providing maximum value on ROI. Skills in visualisation of data would be an advantage.
- Driving process compliance and continual improvement through rigorous messaging to team. Responsible for 100% compliance on policy, process and brand.
- Identify any points of risk or opportunity, suggest solutions and escalate where appropriate.
- Instil a culture of operational excellence.
- Budget management.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree.
*The Brand and Attraction team is based across multiple locations, so there’s flexibility in regional base for this opportunity i.e. Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester or Watford offices. We are currently working from home full-time, however longer-term expectation is for hybrid working i.e. working from home with 2 days per week based in the office.
