Job Title: Analyst – Trading and Wholesale Conduct Risk

Our Banking Risk Wholesale Conduct team helps clients with conduct risk management matters relating to fair client outcomes, stable fair and transparent markets and fair competitive environment in wholesale markets. Our key clients are global investment banks.

• Supporting the delivery of trading and wholesale conduct risk projects for our financial services clients (e.g. project support and helping to draft deliverables) and internal product development around risk and regulatory issues.
• Development of technical knowledge and subject matter expertise in the trading and wholesale conduct risk areas (e.g. Market Abuse, Benchmarks and Risk-Free Rates, FX Conduct Standards in wholesale markets and Electronic Trading).
• Support management with advising clients on the benefits and impact of regulations, current industry practices and advancements relating to trading businesses.
• Support the co-ordination and delivery of all aspects of consulting projects.
• The individual may also be required to apply their skills to a broad range of banking risk related issues supporting both regional and national propositions.

The Person
Qualifications & Skills:
• Knowledge and practical experience in banking, finance or broader financial services.
• Flexibility and agility to contribute to a broad range of banking risk engagements.
• Excellent oral / written communication, planning, project management, networking and influencing skills.
• Flexibility to work across the UK (and internationally) where required

Desirable Experience and Background:
• Relevant sector experience in Wholesale banking, trading, investment management, is desirable but not required.
• Eagerness to develop knowledge and expertise in Trading and Wholesale Conduct risk.
