Job Description
The Financial Services Technology Delivery Centre (FSTDC) is at the heart of our strategy to build digital platforms on which we can run business operations for our banking and insurance clients. It’s where we define and build fully cloud-based platforms using techniques such as Behaviour Driven / Test Driven Development (BDD/TDD); Agile methodology (SCRUM) and Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD).

Role and Responsibilities
As a manager within the Testing Team you will be working with a broad range of top tier clients. The responsibilities will be:
- Working within a business and highly technically focussed testing team to deliver digital applications to support our clients.
- Assessing testing problems from multiple business and technical angles to ensure all relevant issues are considered.
- Proactively driving forward new and creative testing ideas which benefit the client and develops KPMG’s digital offering.
- Working collaboratively with client business and IT teams to design and develop successful test approaches for delivery of financial applications with a focus on innovative test design techniques.
- Managing test delivery teams within a fast-paced delivery environment and provide meaningful business-level updates to senior stakeholders.
- Proactively driving forward new and creative ideas and tools which benefit the team and KPMG as a whole

The skills, qualifications and experience required for the job:
- Experience coaching and mentoring the team to support individuals development needs and career aspirations
- Extensive business and technical knowledge within a Financials Services delivery context and are confident to quickly learn new business/technology skills within a complex content-based environment.
- An experienced test leader of medium to large testing projects across a variety of IT technology platforms
- Extensive knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle with the ability to develop advanced test plans and communicate these effectively to stakeholders.
- Expert prior experience in test design techniques and able to take accountability for the quality and comprehensiveness of the overall test design.
- Extensive ability to assess testing risks and give provide leadership to drive go-live business decisions with senior business stakeholders.
- Currently ISEB/ISTQB qualified
- Experience delivering testing programmes by working closely with technology functions throughout the delivery lifecycle to enable a seamless transition to implementation within tight timeframes
- You are able to manage the process to identify defects that need to be fixed and drive the delivery teams to provide those fixes.
- Experience of Agile Scrum, Kanban, behavioural-driven development (BDD), and continuous integration
- Extensive experience managing test delivery within a cloud-based environment using Azure or Amazon Web Services.
