The Team
Technology Adoption is a transformation team within our Enterprise Wide Technology function focused on driving towards KPMG’s vision to become a technology-driven business.

The Role
Technology Adoption is a key enabler to drive value out of the technology we invest in as a firm and supports our ongoing digital transformation. Following the hugely successful adoption efforts of our Microsoft Teams roll-out in FY2020, the lessons learnt and best practices are to be scaled and delivered to drive adoption across a broader scope of programmes. Digital is already shaping our business and this team are at the forefront of delivering this change – from driving adoption of our digital workplace technology through our Digital Ninja programme, to shaping ways of working and our Modern Teamwork education programme. This role will drive a broad range of adoption initiatives, aligned to our Digital Workplace roadmap, driving our Digital Identity, and future work modes.

A transformation objective is to strengthen the firm’s digital brand with both our clients and our people. The technology adoption team will be responsible for driving the priorities associated with this objective, focusing on shifting client and future talent perception in the market, creating a digital culture and delivering tools and technology for the new reality.
The Technology Adoption team will deliver change interventions throughout the year on the following key priorities:
• Creating our KPMG Digital Identity in order to;
o Shift client and future talent perception of KPMG
o Create a digital culture and leadership
o Deliver and adopt tools, technology and ways of working for the new reality
• One Intranet and Yammer – enabling a personalised portal experience and driving social community conversation
• Our other Digital Workplace technology and tools (incl. continuous evolution of the Microsoft Teams and O365 products).
• Ignition – ensuring we get the best out of our technology investments in the space, including the day to day running of the Digital Garage.

This will be supported by:
• Our Digital Ninja programme – our most powerful technology change network in the firm
• Our Modern Teamwork education programme – a new way of working supported by a modern e-learning curriculum
• Firmwide interventions that will ensure Technology and our digital capability is embedded into the everyday milestones of our firm through comms and engagement both internal and external, utilising Ignition, device roll out, and changes in work modes and office footprint


The Person
You will be responsible for:
- Defining, managing and delivering the work packages associated with the activities listed above
- Remain aligned to the roadmaps for Ignition, Digital Workplace and Digital Identity priorities, and work modes strategy.
- Work closely with our Head of Digital Workplace and Digital Transformation to ensure our efforts are always aligned with our strategic priorities.
- Identifying, defining and tracking the benefits and outcomes required of the programme
- Ensuring that changes are effectively integrated into the business
- Work with SMEs to assess business needs and requirements and turn this into content that can be delivered to the highest standard that is relevant and deployed in a timely manner;
- Supporting the wellbeing and career development of the Technology Adoption team.
- Coach and guide other team members relating to every aspect of the project so that workstream leads can understand their responsibilities fully and act on them efficiently
- Have overall responsibility for the successful planning, budgeting and execution of projects.
- Align with governance outside the programme

- Highly experienced in delivering firm-wide highly complex, technology change in to the business.
- Highly experienced in driving technology adoption
- Expertise and knowledge of business technology requirements and ways of working
- Significant experience in a consulting role focussing on strategic, people, process and/or technology transformation
- Ability to work and communicate at both a strategic level and technical level, flexing style appropriately
- Ability to lead and develop teams, driving high performance team ways of working
- Excellent communication and presentation (written and verbal) skills, including in front of senior groups and large teams
- Determination and personal effectiveness, to tackle challenges and manage deadlines
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, to grasp complex business challenges quickly with excellent problem solving skills. You can create structure within chaos and take action to drive a team forward even when circumstances change.

- Keen to play a key role in delivering something new and exciting with the opportunity to make a real difference of how we deliver to our clients
