Job DescriptionThis is a role in UK Learning’s Business Learning Partner team, which is the team of high profile, dynamic learning professionals supporting all Capability, Coverage and Performance Groups in identifying and addressing learning needs in support of business strategy and delivering client service excellence;

This role will focus on the technical learning of technology teams in Solutions and Digital - for example: Experience Design, Software Engineering, QA, DevOps, CloudOps, Delivery Managers, so an understanding of technology teams and development lifecycle is key

This role involves working with the business stakeholders to validate and scope learning needs and leverage the full breadth of services, support and expertise of the UK Learning team to deliver excellent learning solutions, by managing the creation of learning programmes and deployment using Learning Architects, Designers, Programme Leaders and functional and learning SME’s from our Centres of Excellence for the delivery of programmes where required.

Key responsibilities
- An understanding of technology and how technology teams operate, is key to finding the best technical learning solutions and will give much needed credibility in a complex and diverse part of the business
- Good business partnering skills within a commercial environment with a variety of stakeholders at all levels to scope, plan, develop and deliver demonstrable business impact. The role will work with other team members from across the organisation to deliver solutions. Being able to shape and manage a budget to deliver focused value for money and business impact will be important whilst having the ability to engage and manage other resources is essential ;
- Learning Design and Development – Conduct needs analysis, scoping, planning, designing and developing for key programmes which transfer impact to the business and produce longer term results;
- Champion 70:20:10 approach to learning across all programmes;
- Results focus: Monitor and track results and impact on the business;
- Performance Support –Build performance support tools, potentially utilising technology-enabled learning to support development ;
-Vendor Management –Manage strong relationships with external vendors and discuss business requirements to ensure value for money and business impact;
- Learning Delivery/Facilitation – Deliver/facilitate a programmes e.g. One Firm Graduate Induction;
- Reviewing and/or tracking the effectiveness of the learning solutions using given or created MI and analytics to report to the group and facilitate change where necessary;
- Liaising with Global L&D Business Learning Partners relevant to the designated group, contributing to definition of the Global curriculum and influencing adoption of Global L&D programmes in the UK where appropriate;
- Championing or cascading firm-wide learning programmes within their group (for example, performance development training );
- Budget management, covering accountability for internal costs and monitoring of external costs;
- Technical knowledge – an understanding of technology, and how technology teams operate, will be a significant advantage ; giving much needed credibility in a complex and diverse part of the business.

- Apprentice Lead – Apprentice steering committee and scoping some qualifications
- Programmes Lead – determining and agreeing approach
- UK Learning Leadership – for agreement on prioritisation and investment
- Deployment – planning and deployment of annual learning
- COEs - for assistance with the scoping of a project
- Learning Design Lead – for understanding of how a project is progressing

- In the designated group (Leadership for group, performance leaders and HOPOs, People Partners, HR BP, Resourcing)
- In wider KPMG (global peers, global function heads, client facing learning functions)

Experience and Background
- Experience of working in or with technology teams
- Proven record in delivering successful projects
-Flexible, consultative communications approach
-Comfortable with ambiguity and working through it
-Experience in designing, delivering and evaluating cost effective learning programmes, incorporating 70:20:10 approach
-Continuous improvement, high quality delivery mind-set
