KPMG Solutions & Digital empower our clients to move forward. We are looking to add another Senior Visual / UI Designer to the team; a smart, empathetic and passionate practitioner with great communication and story-telling skills. Our ideal team member will have a broad human-centered approach to complex problem-solving, with demonstrable skills to be hands-on with design execution throughout all stages of a project.

About you
- You are inquisitive, have a passion for design and thrive on challenges
- You’ve honed your design chops working in an agency or in-house Agile environment
- You’d describe yourself as a Visual Master and you think beautiful pixel perfection is just as important as the user experience itself
- You are creative with a good dose of cognitive empathy
- Making beautiful things is your passion, but you’re keen to broaden your UX skillset too
- You have demonstrable experience of problem solving using Experience Design methodologies
- You have mastered at least one of these skills but you’re not defined by it: IA, Design Strategy, Interaction Design, Visual Design, Design Implementation and Usability
- You can stand in front of customers to evangelise or justify your design rationale
- You can articulate design and technology without buzzwords
- You can bring projects from conceptual sketches all the way to high fidelity designs
- You're adaptive and enjoy collaboration across all disciplines
- You’re mature with a lid on your ego and have a good sense of humour

Responsibilities
- Create rich high-fidelity compositions incorporating UX methodologies
- Ideate and create deliverables such as journey maps, user flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes
- Deliver engaging stories through various mediums to support business development initiatives
- Mentor peers and junior designers for skills advancement and design education
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, peers, and stakeholders
- Create and manage deliverable documentation such as style-guides, design systems and visual implementation guides
- Adhere to Information Security related processes, procedures and role-based responsibilities

Desired skills and experience:
- Significant design-related experience (various industries and B2B experience is a bonus)
- Skilled in common design tools; Sketch, Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma etc.
- Experience in building clickable and interactive prototypes in Invision or Axure (motion design and micro interaction skills are a bonus)
- Awareness and interest in current technology and design trends
- Strong self-motivation and teamwork skills, with the ability to build momentum and pivot in difficult situations
- An understanding of research techniques and related deliverables (you’ll also learn these on the job)
- Ability to facilitate workshops and conduct user / stakeholder interviews
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate, sell, defend, and receive feedback on work in a professional environment
- Attention to detail for project, consulting, and design
- Provide support to other Designers, Business Analysts, and Development teams on the execution of design related activities
