Job Description
You will have a prominent role with opportunities for rapid progression in the Audit practice. The role will require you to interact directly with engagement leaders helping them lead engagement teams to plan and deliver consistent high quality audits. You will be trained by our Department of Professional Practice in Audit in all areas to demonstrate audit quality. You will have direct access to our subject matter specialists to support you in this role.

Your responsibility will primarily be working with a group of engagement teams across the audit cycle where you will:

- Help them robustly evidence their risk assessment and develop their planning
- Coach them in the delivery of their fieldwork
- Challenge the clarity of thinking during the reporting and completion stages.

You will have significant authority to influence the performance of these engagements. The role is focussed on engagements within the scope of the external Audit Quality Review process but extends across teams from all offices.

You will also contribute to the development of sustainable improvement actions to be implemented across all audits.

Necessary Experience and Skills:

- Be a high performing experienced Manager (C grade) or Senior Manager (B grade) experience in audit post qualification
- Be passionate and committed to audit quality
- Have excellent accounting and auditing skills
- Excel at coaching
- Be pro-active and resilient
- Have good written and verbal communication skills
- Be confident interacting directly with engagement leaders
- Demonstrate diplomacy when challenging audit approaches
- Be able to work under pressure
