Job DescriptionSenior Manager – Retail and Commercial

We are currently looking to recruit Senior Managers who can make a significant contribution to the Financial Services Operations and Customer Practice through Retail and Commercial sector expertise, client engagement and delivery of new business opportunities. Successful candidates will help grow the FS Operations and Customer practice, taking responsibility for revenue targets, expanding the pipeline of opportunities and developing value propositions for the market in which we operate. Successful candidates will also support the practice Partner to:
- Perform a senior role in delivery of engagements as required.
- Deliver an individual revenue sales target.
- Mentor and coach other members of the team.
- Develop and convert a pipeline of opportunities.
- Fulfil a key role in account and sector development within FS Operations and Customer team, specifically within the Retail and Commercial market, assisting senior management to build the top line.
- Formulate propositions and solutions that meet client requirements in addition to managing and directing pursuit activity.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships within the sector, leveraging proven industry content and delivery capability.
- Perform a senior role in delivery of engagements as required.
Job Requirements
- Change Programme design, implementation and management, with a proven ability to work as Engagement Manager
- Consulting Sales, with an agreed target of per annum. Strong bid management abilities, with a proven ability to mentor and train Consultants.
- Solution development, showing a clear ability to enhance existing solutions, and develop new ones, with specific emphasis on Customer, Transformation Leadership and Operational Excellence.
- People management, building a team of consultants with the right mix of grades, competencies and experience to support client opportunities and projected growth.
- Leadership of multi-disciplinary projects across Customer, Transformation Leadership and Operational Excellence capabilities focussing on Regulatory Change, Financial Crime programmes and Target Operating Model.
Skills and Experience
-In-depth Banking experience with exposure to shaping and delivering significant programmes of Operational Change. Deep understanding of FS industry, business processes and underlying technologies
-Prior experience in consulting or leading large scale, complex business and regulatory change programmes in the capacity of Project/Programme Manager
-In-depth understanding of the key industry, market and regulatory drivers shaping the FS industry and an ability to articulate these by way of client opportunities.
-Key areas of interest include regulatory driven change such as CDD, Remediation, Financial Crime, GDPR, Target Operating Model design and implementation and transformation programme management.
-Experience and understanding of Digital Operations and AI across Operations.
-Demonstrable expertise in building and leveraging relationships.
-The ability to present to C-Level decision makers.
-Experience of managing and coaching teams.
-Strong interpersonal & written communication skills.
-Self-starter and strong team player.
-Commercially minded to be able to identify opportunities
-Ability to quickly and decisively understand client issues and provide appropriate solutions
-Ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders at all levels within client organisations
-Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation
-Demonstrable facilitation and influencing skills
-Experience of producing high quality deliverables in change programme environment
