Job DescriptionThe KPMG Learning Academy/Digital Learning team (KLA) offers a comprehensive range of off-the-shelf digital, blended, and classroom training courses, as well as bespoke design and delivery of programmes. We work with a wide client base across all sectors and are looking for an experienced Digital Learning Technology specialist to join our fast-growing team and lead our learning technology area.

Candidate Summary:



You will be a talented and ambitious senior leader with significant experience in learning technology solutions, including setting technology strategy, planning, managing and delivering through others.

The ideal candidate will have deep and relevant experience evidenced by their demonstrable track record of leading teams to deliver significant learning interventions.
You must be able to demonstrate strong and relevant experience of a variety of learning technologies with a history of successful implementation and adoption.

You must also be able to demonstrate an ability to successfully build and maintain relationships to drive successful business development, including proactively building and maintain strategic relationships with both internal & external stakeholders.

Your experience will benefit from working with, and alongside specialists from a number of disciplines and experts from our Global Centres of Excellence.

Job Description



The purpose of this role is to identify, win and deliver effective client learning solutions, with a focus on the learning technology aspects. The business development and client project delivery aspects of the role are in equal proportion.

The role is therefore responsible for building relationships within KPMG go to market channels to embed the KLA approaches and solutions in a range of delivery models, as well as creating the KLA standard approach across the variety of learning technologies we currently use, and identifying new learning technologies to future proof and differentiate our solutions.

You will also lead multiple client engagements for the creation and deployment of learning solutions using delivery teams with a mix of onshore and off shore resources to meet client needs.
Contributing to the strategic and tactical management of the KLA is also key to the role as is being a core member of the KLA Leadership team. The role will require working with the management team to build capability and capacity across the team in London and Leeds, and our offshore locations in India.

We work with a wide client base across all sectors and are looking for an experienced senior learning technology specialist who can demonstrate their practical experience to join our fast-growing team of learning professionals.

Roles & Responsibilities


Our work in the KLA is incredibly varied and you will be asked to apply your skills and expertise to different technology enabled learning projects, often with large scale clients. In particular in the Learning Management System (LMS) and Learning Platform space, taking a lead role working between the KLA and the KPMG Learning Platform team (KLP).

The role is responsible for building relationships within KPMG go to market channels to embed the KLA in a range of delivery models.
The successful candidate for this particular role will work collaboratively with KPMG colleagues and clients to ensure KPMG are the leaders in the market for end to end learning solutions by:

Setting the strategy and direction for the LMS space and team members.

-

Developing to Go to Market offering and lead the production of collateral to support BD conversations.

-

Driving business development activity in the learning technology space, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), Artificial Intelligence (AI)

-

Playing a key role in working with the KPMG Platform (KLP) team to understand and manage joint activities and proposals.

-

Supporting client facing teams with technology discussions.

-

Taking an active role in the KLA/Digital Learning leadership team in managing the direction of the team and performance.

-

Managing the learning technology team members.

-

Lead the delivery of multiple high quality client projects, working closely with colleagues from other service areas of our Solutions business and the wider KPMG business.

Deliver business outcomes through identification of needs and programme management of comprehensive solutions including evaluation of effectiveness.

Finally, the role will play a key part in helping to build capability and capacity across the team in London, Leeds, Gurgaon and Bangalore.

Required Skills



The successful candidate will also be required to: ·

Be credible and confident building new relationships at senior levels, as well as be able to demonstrate proven significant experience in influencing senior stakeholders to make business decisions.

Be able to generate thought leadership, delivering viewpoints in the market to both create new thinking and drive new business opportunities.

Have excellent personal, written and oral presentation skills.

Demonstrate a commercial awareness evidenced by an ability to identify business opportunities and lead effective engagements in relation to risk, financial and engagement management procedures.

This role also requires the following digital competencies:

Experience in:

-

Setting learning technology strategy, designing and fostering the adoption of technology solutions and providing consultancy on the full procurement and deployment lifecycle for a variety of learning technologies, including LMS.

Experience of advising organisations on latest innovations, digital offerings and technologies in learning, including implementing learning technologies (within complex organisations)

-

Experience of undertaking assessment of systems learning solution options (scoping, feasibility, design, services costing, deliverables, completion criteria, etc).

-

Experience of advising organisations on latest innovations, digital offerings and technologies in learning, including implementing learning technologies (within complex organisations).

Qualifications including CIPD, an MBA and a formal Project Management qualification would be beneficial, but are not essential as relevant practical experience is equally important.
