Senior Manager – Audit Analytics

Roles and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

Lead large, complex audit analytics programmes and projects from strategy, planning to execution and delivery.

Work with senior client stakeholders (CIO, CDO and CFO) to cultivate strong relationships as a trusted partner, through articulating and realising the value of data.

Identify, scope and develop business cases opportunities with clients, and lead the creation of RFP responses.

Build frameworks, accelerators, and points of view to support sales and solve key client issues

Leverage their understanding of key financial service vendors in the marketplace to deliver audit engagements

Managing audit programs including project delivery, budget and risk

Develop our people through coaching, mentoring, formal performance management and creating an inclusive working environment

Use people management experience to lead combined project teams of client and KPMG professionals, and develop knowledge in the KPMG team

Adhere to internal risk/engagement management processes

Qualifications and SkillsDelivering audit analytics programs for financial / non-financial sector by adapting to the audit methodologies.

Developing and owning Audit propositions and delivery methodologies.

Assessing and optimizing data governance processes and operational controls around data management procedures.

Good knowledge of implementing and optimising transaction monitoring systems, data warehouses, big data, or Cloud environments.

Designing automated and data-driven controls to better manage and protect data assets.

Validating and testing data and reports submitted to regulatory bodies.

Designing and developing dashboards, visualisations and metrics to improve understanding of business processes, identify potential weaknesses and provide operational resilience.

Developing data analytics routines to test detection scenarios and build diagnostic methods to explore risk criteria.

Understanding of market trends, new technologies and how they impact companies and society

Actively contributing on client-facing project work, being self-starting and motivated to produce the required high standard of deliverables.

Building and maintaining relationships both internally within the KPMG network and externally with clients.

Supporting sales through work on bids, proposal responses and developing opportunities.

A technical background in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics or similar
