The Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our team in London. The position will be based out of our London office in Canary Wharf.

Delivery of projects
You will lead the bidding and delivery of large complex policy and grants programmes across the IGH spectrum.
There are existing programmes that you would step into a leadership role on but it is likely that you would develop a portfolio covering a range of UK government departments.
Your role on delivering these programmes could include:
• Programme Design and management
• Managing complex supply chains
• Supporting and designing monitoring, reporting, evaluation and learning frameworks

Successful candidates will be expected to manage work as an integral leader within the IGH leadership team, leading teams and working collaboratively with KPMG colleagues and clients to:
- Lead the delivery of large programmes/ engagements that implement practical change for the benefit of government and targeted groups (e.g. grant recipients)
- Provide insight based on detailed analysis and international best practice
- Plan and deliver changes to help improve operational performance and reduce costs within our programmes and directly for our clients.
- Introduce and evaluate new ways of working
- Move services into alternative settings and develop new delivery models

The Person
You will be a talented and ambitious senior leader with a demonstrable working experience in the public sector and within a professional services firm leading teams and managing programmes in both delivery and business development activities.

The successful candidate will have experience of grants management and complex programme management within the UK Government and Internationally.

Skills and Experience
Engagement Management experience within a professional environment services firm specifically on multi year grant related or similar complex policy programmes. Including managing financial, resource, risk and quality.

Experience delivering fund management projects for UK and international clients potentially including:
• Programme/grant management strategy and design
• Overseeing programme financial processes including due diligence and payment processes
• Experience supervising complex supply chains of sub-contractors including other consulting firms, academic institutions, researchers and technical advisors.
• Experience working internationally including engaging with foreign governments and UK embassies and High Commissions overseas.
• Understanding of and experience designing evaluation and learning frameworks for complex programmes
• Understanding of the requirements of delivering UK projects internationally

Business Development Experience
Comfortable playing a leading role designing solutions and authoring major £5M + bids across the IGH spectrum.
Experience leading and designing propositions to test with clients and internally and designing new products and services within a professional services firm.
