The Role
The Security Architect - Product Management, supports the planning, quality assurance, architecture design impacts to services, and innovation for security services for KPMG’s global cloud enablement. Team member will support security teams with architecture design, technical recommendations, assessing impacts to existing security services based upon Product releases, assessing creation of new security services or evolving of existing services. Additionally, this role is responsible for developing security strategies, judgements and documentation to enable security services and security teams to adopt and speed to market of emerging security technologies across the cloud and KPMG estate.

The Person

Technical Skills
- Responsible for understanding, researching, designing, and developing security solutions with the products KPMG has acquired for consumption as a service offering across all of KPMG, technical and reference architectures, and supporting security strategies tailored to KPMG’s business needs, with a focus towards Cloud, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Microsoft’s Office365, AWS and Google
- Lead, develop and contribute to Product management deliverables with a security focus on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services, emphasizing Microsoft technologies (Azure and 0365) that is part of the KPMG Product Management portfolio. Requires partnership with Global Application/Product/Solution owners and project teams to deliver reliable and scalable security capabilities and strategies optimizing confidentiality, integrity, availability, functionality, performance, and financial costs; support ongoing business stakeholder dialog of security strategies, priorities and governance.
- Design, develop and deliver product roadmaps to support the evolution of core security services, aligning deliveries to common product playbook and KPMG strategies.
- Responsible for aligning and translating business requirements into Product Management lifecycles, designs and reference architectures for Product roadmaps that can be leveraged by all professionals across KPMG’s member firms.
- Perform as a subject matter professional on cloud technologies (and cloud technology security) with responsibilities to coach Cloud Central members and facilitate knowledge transfer within the greater Cloud Central groups: ITS Global, IPG and member firms.
- Participate and act as a promoter and Guardian of Global Standards and standard infrastructure services and solutions, while supporting audit processes for security and compliance strategies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science(s), Information Technology/Security, Systems Engineering or similar area; Master’s preferred
- Professional certifications in information technology and cloud security -- CISSP preferred (must obtain within 180-days), CCSP (optional), CISA (optional), CEH (optional), OSCP (optional); Azure Solutions Architect Certification (preferred but not required with demonstrated professional work experience)
- Microsoft Azure Architect Certification
- Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies
- In-depth knowledge of system design and architecture with the technologies and experience implementing a wide range of solutions
- Strong understanding of identity and access management, including mitigating credential theft
- Good understanding of Windows 2003/2008/2012/2016/2019 Server/AD Domain Infrastructure; MCITP / MCSE Certifications in Windows Products

Experience & Knowledge
- Experience of working in an agile operating environment
- Experience of working within Product Management lifecycles
- Service Management experience based on ITIL framework
- Advanced understanding of information security, border protection, incident handling & response, forensics, endpoint protection & encryption
- Proven experience in securing systems
- Able to evaluate current people, processes, technology, and business drivers to improve the service
- Network infrastructure knowledge, advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and Internet protocols, moderate knowledge of VPNs and firewalls
- Able to articulate security concepts and methods based on standards, policies and best practices to both technical and non-technical teams
- Understanding and experience with various security related exploits and tools
- Experience participating in change boards
