You will join the KPMG Powered Customer Team within Connected Technology, communities of technology focussed professionals who work together to deliver this change, sharing modern engineering enablement and smart automation engineering to optimise delivery and speed to outcome. These teams have deep functional knowledge and experience across our client’s core business functions, combined with deep technical skills to lead and deliver business outcome led high quality client solutions. We need talented individuals with experience of Salesforce implementations but importantly want to be involved in the strategic not the tactical, selling and delivering iteratively to deliver continuous and sustainable outcomes. This is a high-profile role within the team, requiring a balance of business development, sales origination and client delivery.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Take ownership of technical Salesforce solutions across multiple projects and clients from, design through to implementation and deploy
• Provide creative solutions to complex technical problems, being able to use previous experience to accurately estimate timelines where necessary
• Implement requirements using declarative and programmatic techniques
• Coach and manage more junior resources in Salesforce best practice and technical
The Person
• Multiple years’ experience of implementing Salesforce using configuration and customisation
• Prior work with OO languages (Java, C#, C++, etc.) is a plus
• Experience with relational databases, including work with SOQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or other common RDBMS.
• Solid understanding of the Force.com platform, Apex classes, Visual Force, Batch Apex, Triggers, SOQL, SOAP/REST based web services
• Experience in designing and implementing Salesforce cross-organisation, along with cross-instance integrations to support multiple business process environments.
• Experience in building Lightning Aura and Web components.
• Good understanding of HTML, JavaScript (including JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and Prototype) and CSS
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of Continuous Integration (Deployment) using SVN tools (JENKINS/GIT) is preferred.
• Excellent understanding and experience of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud is a must.
• Experience of multi-cloud and vendor solutions, including CPQ, Field Service Lightning, Commerce Cloud and Marketing Cloud desirable.
