Job Description
The Team:


— We help Civil Servants make a difference to the lives of people right across the UK by ensuring that they have the learning and development interventions they need to do their jobs
— KPMG currently leads a talented consortium of learning and development experts who work as a team to deliver a Core Curriculum and bespoke courses and programmes for civil servants across the UK and beyond
— You will be involved in the largest learning and development intervention in the UK that will fundamentally improve the way that civil servants learn
— We have already delivered a comprehensive suite of learning solutions, utilising digital technology and blended learning solutions, to help the Civil Service achieve this ambitious transformation

Job Summary:


— An individual who is passionate about adding value to our clients
— Manage and monitor the sales and business development plans
— Deploy and manage the sales operational model, driving reporting and escalation cadence
— Work with sales analytics to provide reporting, generate data driven insights and drive the Go-to-Market planning
— Manage the deal pipeline and deliver an accurate, timely sales forecast

Key Accountabilities
— Manage and support the bookings forecast
— Target achievement within sales or a client-facing professional role
— Develop a business development strategy
— Lead on senior stakeholder relations

Knowledge/skills/experience:


Essential
— Delivery of sales plan targets, with extensive operations experience in a professional services, learning, outsourcing or managed services setting
— Strategic thinking, senior-level communication skills, attention to detail and flawless execution
— Strong stakeholder management and the ability to build networks effectively
— Relentless in clearing obstacles with a resourceful approach to problem-solving
— Data interrogation, analysis and reporting including experience of interpreting financial information
— Coaching skills to ensure continuous improvement across the team in use of operating tools and methodologies
— Be a self-starter with solid sales or operations experience, enabling you to take on assignments at a senior level
— Proven ability to work in cross functions teams
— Strong commercial acumen
— Able to work with discretion due to the sensitive nature of the role

Preferred:
— Prior experience working with the Public Sector, Central Government or Learning and Development
— Formal Sales, Marketing and/or Account Management training and / or experience
— Bachelor’s degree in business or finance, MBA desired

Responsibilities:
— Focus on client requirements, prioritising and reporting on time sensitive solutions and allowing timely communication to client
— Working closely with stakeholders in strategic and operational go-to market planning, executing on those key strategic and operational initiatives
— Drive deal velocity in order to increase revenue
— Boost sales conversion through deploying rigorous sales processes, pricing, contracting and negotiation, to win work across multiple channels Manage a regular daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly cadence around planning, forecasting, opportunity progression, pipeline management and sales reviews
— Deliver Regular and ad-hoc analysis, insights and dashboard reporting on sales productivity, customer activity, market dynamics, pipeline activity and product performance to support sales and marketing
— Diagnosis of gaps to target and development of action plans to improve performance
— Manage the tracking of bid opportunities and responses
— Focus on proactively identifying and implementing operational enhancements that improve efficiency and effectiveness
— Ensure all sales activities are consistent with KPMG sales excellence methodology, account plan sales process, client service meetings and client service reviews
