The GCM team deliver on the firm’s growth and trust ambition by driving execution, consistency and efficiency of sales and Go To Market processes, driving a strong and consistent sales culture, increasing our win rate on global opportunities and delivering a compelling and consistent client experience across the firm. Therefore, enabling Global Lead Partners and their teams with an ability to leverage the right resources, solution, knowledge and processes to ensure KPMG wins by delivering brand defining work at brand defining clients.

This is a UK based role, and some international travel may be required. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and expected to deliver to tight deadlines.

Role Summary

The Sectors and Strategic Accounts Portfolio team work on a number of strategic projects and initiatives that are integral to our ability to deliver on our Trust and Growth agenda. We work closely with Global Sector Heads, Global Lead Partners, and other key contacts across all regions and functions.

Responsibilities include:

Accountability for a number of key activities that support the successful delivery on the projects and initiatives.
Responsibility for communications and reporting on the progress of projects for internal stakeholders such as GCM Leadership, GCM Steering Group and/or the Global Board.
To represent the Sectors and Strategic Accounts Portfolio by participating in calls, meetings and events (e.g. with project stakeholders, global client service teams, global and regional markets groups), and to track discussions/ developments, and documenting and following up actions and deliverables.
To understand the Global Sectors and Account Programs, business planning process and KPMG Way.
To build an understanding of KGS’ off-shore offerings and the benefits of adoption for the Sector and Account teams.
To support the Director in preparing documentation and presentations for international meetings and events.
To undertake other ad hoc tasks as required.

Key Accountabilities

% of Time - Accountability:

50 - Deliver on activities that ensure successful delivery of projects.
25 - Meeting with other GCM teams and stakeholders to drive progress of projects and initiatives.
10 - Regular reporting on the status of projects.
10 - Preparing documents and presentations.
5 - Working on ad-hoc tasks identified by the Director or Senior Managers.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

Strong project management experience, preferably within KPMG, and evidence of successfully delivered projects.
Experience of the KPMG commercial environment through sales, business development, sector experience would be highly beneficial.
Solid educational background and qualifications. Degree or formal business qualification preferred.

Strong sense of responsibility and ownership, with the ability to work without direction/minimal guidance and to pursue tasks through to completion with energy, initiative and enthusiasm.
