We have locations in London, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds and Manchester, but is organised on a national basis and is looking at hiring candidates to join their London based team. We needs professional, talented people with a passion for identifying, creating and delivering innovative solutions.

Strategic Procurement Advisory (SPA) is a new, diverse and fast-growing team that is part of the wider Strategic Advisory Services Team with IAG. SPA advises organisations on strategic procurement (e.g. design and construction), including packaging, supplier selection, and commercial and contracting strategy. Our work includes developing and shaping programme delivery models for major government and infrastructure clients throughout the UK. We typically work on some of the most novel and complex issues that government, corporate and major programme clients are grappling with. Our clients look to us for novel ideas about partnering, collaboration, achieving value and managing complex stakeholder relationships.

The Role
To be an effective Executive, applicants will be expected to:
Contribute to project work-streams working closely with, and following instruction from work-stream leads. This may involve conducting structured interviews, data analysis, project administration or report/slide generation.
Take ownership of smaller work-streams
Generate hypotheses and contribute to storyboarding of projects
Liaise effectively with clients whilst working on engagements and act as an ‘ambassador’ for KPMG
Attend meetings and record minutes
Produce client ready deliverables in powerpoint, word and excel format
Develop solutions to problems and challenge the thinking of more senior colleagues and clients
Construct financial / business models, performing scenario and sensitivity analysis
Contribute to business development opportunities by helping with the generation of proposals and bid documentation as part of a bid team
Provide timely feedback to other team members
Contribute to the development of the team by taking on some team roles (knowledge management, team admin, administration of team meetings etc.)
Be comfortable handling ambiguity and changing client demands
Demonstrate enthusiasm and interest in the sector with a demonstrated passion for public issues
Build and maintain a strong internal and external network
Demonstrate high levels of drive, ambition, and able to lead work at high levels of intensity
Support the development of the SPA proposition and knowledge base

The Person
We are looking for applicants who display the following:
Evidence of strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Structured thinking skills combined with creativity
Be comfortable handling ambiguity and changing client demands
Ability to review and assess technical data and distil the key strategic insights
Strong numerical capabilities
Excellent English written and oral communication skills
Demonstrate enthusiasm and interest in working on critical public sector issues and the delivery of the infrastructure and services that help realise public policy
Experience of working with or researching a range of stakeholders/clients and having an emerging understanding of the issues facing the infrastructure sector and/or large-scale procurements
A passion for learning and maintaining knowledge of trends in the latest thinking related to programme delivery models, supply chains, collaboration and alliancing.
An understanding of differences between transactional, collaborative and alliancing delivery models for projects and programmes
Background in relevant consultancy, commercial, procurement, strategy or academia
Professional qualification (or working towards one) such as MCIPS, MRICS or relevant postgraduate degrees welcome
A willingness to travel
