The TOM Architect brings subject matter expertise in Functional transformation areas within their respective functions. The individual serves as a thought leader, and can envision the “Future of” the function for our clients. Architects are heavily involved in the Powered sales process, including proposal development, review and completion, customer demonstrations, and Orals. Architects will occasionally provide oversight to project deliverables as needed within the GDN Powered Delivery Solutioning Team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide input and guidance to Powered countries to architect a high value Powered Transformation solution (from a functional perspective) and related sales opportunities in their region
- Lead client conversations on the future of their function and TOM (enabled by the cloud) along with the impact of Powered as an accelerator
- Coordinate with Powered Product Alliance Partners as necessary for sales and delivery related matters
- Where relevant, act as a member of a QA / Challenge panel for priority Powered engagements ensuring maximum value for both client and KPMG
- Work hand in hand with the Platform Architect team to help design the Transformation solution through proposal development and sales presentations
- Develop leading practices and envision outlook of the future in terms of features and functions within relevant platform for designated Region
- Collaborate with the appropriate CoEs to harvest and enhance existing IP through successful Powered sales and delivery, as well as contribute to new thought leadership and IP in partnership with the other regional TOM Architects
- On limited occasions, be involved in the delivery of strategically important Transformations. This may include QA oversight, coaching the client on the best way of achieving maximum value from their Powered enabled functional architecture
- Build out the community network within the CoE and outside of the firm
- Capable of operating at the C suite level; demonstrate credibility with key country practice leaders in their region
- Have a broad understanding and experience with Transformations at the strategic level
- Demonstrate expertise in core domain functionality, and an understanding of the future direction of their relevant function
- Experienced in the sale and delivery of Powered engagements including familiarity with the Powered Suite of tools and blended delivery models (onshore/offshore, etc.)
- Experienced in collaborating on multi-stack transformational engagements, ideally cross border
- Experienced in operating and excelling in a virtual environment, building and maintaining relationships both in-person and through virtual means
- Instruct and inform local country teams of information stemming from COE and Powered teams
- Willing to travel to cross-regionally to support key business development and sales activities
- A successful candidate must have significant, managment level experience, and have mastered functional expertise in their relevant field related to Cloud based applications, deep expertise and knowledge of business drivers and the processes within target functional domain
- Senior Manager (SM) level experience. Experienced SM who have delivery experience and exposure to sales preferred. Track record as a top performer among peers
- Highest level of Powered program accreditation
- Experience in implementing solutions that drive functional transformation enabled by technology accelerators
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in functional area or related experience
- Preferred MBA or recognised certification(s) in a relevant business function (e.g. HR, Finance, Marketing etc.)
