Job Description
The Team

The Clara Analytics Team brings together a group of talented individuals that share a creative mind-set and an ambition to drive innovation and collaboration in audit. Supporting our audit teams on their technology journey and ensuring that we are delivering the audit of the future, today.

We are looking for a high performing individual who will become a vital member of the Revenue Project team – the team responsible for the mandatory implementation of D&A across the audit practise along with supporting the development of new innovative audit solutions.

- Have a significant impact in our Audit function and drive our D&A agenda

- Gain experiences from working with a wide range of audit teams

- The location is flexible as we expect the individual to be supporting teams across the country

The Role

Be at the heart of delivering the requirements of mandatory use of D&A across the audit practise.

To include, but not limited to:

- Provide management over the delivery of the Clara Revenue project working closely with the Project Lead.

- Achieve team and individual performance objectives set against project milestones ensuring effective and efficient delivery of the project.

- Collaborate with audit engagement leaders in order to support setting appropriate scoping for each engagement.

- Lead expanding the D&A audit testing capabilities with particular focus on specific industries and audit areas.

- Support audit teams during the course of the project to make sure testing objectives are met.

- Liaise with the corresponding data specialists teams to achieve consistency of reporting results and address ad hoc data enquiries from audit teams.

- Support with building KPMG methodology on D&A testing managing a number of stakeholders including DPP and audit risk.

- Act as a point of contact of the Clara Revenue team and promote the project within the firm.

The Person

- ACA/ACCA/ICAS qualified or equivalent.

- Be a high performing audit manager (we will consider high performing D grades aspiring for manager promotion).

- 4+ years of audit experience ideally acting in managerial role in the past.

- Team player with strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills including leading teams of at least 4 team members.

- Strong knowledge of existing KPMG D&A capabilities (desirable).

- Be 100% committed to the role (we will consider individuals who might need to retain a small element of direct client delivery work).

- Be passionate about innovation and the use of D&A in our audits and ideally have used D&A on your audits.

- Be pro-active and resilient.

- Have good written and verbal communication skills.

- Be confident interacting directly with stakeholders.
