Job DescriptionRole Summary

The Programme Coordinator is a key role supporting the Programme Lead and Programme Manager to implement the significant number of programme and projects within the Brexit team. This is an excellent developmental opportunity for an individual who is keen to improve their understanding of portfolio, programme and project management and to gain exposure to the Firm’s wider strategic programme of change.
The Programme/PMO Analyst has a dual reporting line to the Head of PMO in the Transformation CoE and the Brexit Programme Director.

Responsibilities

Support the Programme Director and Programme Manager:
Maintain and execute standard project management governance and reporting process
Minute the key programme meetings – detailing key actions and circulating to the relevant stakeholder groups
Own the end to end process of data gathering from the key work stream leads
Maintain the integrated Programme plan, tracking of milestones and ensuring any deviations are brought to Programme Lead’s attention
To provide logical, structured input into written deliverables.
Assist in analysing, engaging and managing stakeholders.
Proactively drive forward new and creative ideas which benefit the portfolio.
Be the key point of contact for routine portfolio issues.
Manage regular portfolio reporting cycle and draft comms, agendas and briefing documents for review.
Co-ordinate governance and programmes team meetings, prepare slides, log minutes and actions and proactively check on progress.
Arrange logistics and support preparation of agenda and materials for stakeholder meetings and workshops

Qualifications and Skills

- Well organised.
- Strong analytical and written skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Capable of learning and developing new ideas, processes and methods.
- Proficient with MS Office applications; familiarity with programme / project scheduling tools would be useful.

Experience and Background

- Experience of portfolio / programme / project management would be useful but is not essential and there will be scope to learn and develop in role.

This is a 9 month Fixed Term Contract
