Job Description
The Global Consistency Group drives consistency in audit quality across the Global KPMG network and is a business imperative.

The KPMG Clara workflow will to deliver enhanced methodology, workflow, knowledge and training in 2020, but we need to improve consistency in audit quality now.

The Global Consistency Group (GCG), working hand-in-hand with the KPMG Clara workflow team, will produce globally consistent:

Knowledge and guidance that can be deployed now and also delivered through the workflow in 2020
Templates and tools that can be deployed now and align with / inform the workflow design

Together the GCG and the KPMG Clara workflow team will:

- drive global consistency and improve AQ now,
- reduce the change management effort required when the workflow is deployed in 2020.
- test the underlying concepts and workflow with a wide audience and
- get detailed feedback to enhance the workflow, methodology & knowledge in 2020.

The role

We're looking for a high-performing senior manager to:

- manage the overall programme and keep it on track
- ensure that all communications are clear, in a consistent format, and meet the users’ needs
- promote collaboration through our global communications network
- drive a change in mind-set & approach

This role would suit someone who’s ambitious, enthusiastic and ready to try something new. Someone with recent auditing experience who is confident engaging at a very senior level, enjoys people and project management and wants to make a significant impact in KPMG.
A good understanding of audit and accounting is essential but the candidate also needs to be able to step out of the detail to take a broader, more strategic view and have a passion for clear communication.


Drive consistency by:

- creating and promoting use of globally consistent templates which deliver clear messages in a consistent format
- assessing usability of content developed by subject matter experts from an auditor’s perspective
- working closely with KPMG Clara workflow team – e.g. on workflow screen design
- agreeing with stakeholders where to use ‘guard rails’ to maintain a consistent approach and execution.
- Manage a programme of multiple workstreams by:
- consolidating the workstream project plans
- monitoring progress against plans and providing regular updates to stakeholders
- ensuring workstreams deliver successful outcomes
- on-boarding workstream members
- Build and maintain stakeholder engagement by:
- supporting design and delivery of regular GCG meetings
- implementing a comms plan including emails, meetings, web-pages
Lead the ISG’s communications network with member firms DPPs by:

- building relationships
- designing and leading the quarterly comms network meetings
- seeking feedback on member firm needs and key projects/deliverables
- fostering a culture of sharing know-how and best practice.
- Design and manage a complex programme of change, flexing the methods to fit the need

What is fundamental to the success of the project is input from users of eAudiT, KAM and knowledge who can contribute practical input into what will make a better audit solution – so you don’t need to be a technical expert, what we want is your practical experience as a preparer or a reviewer of eAudiT, and a user of knowledge and KAM.

Change management. You’ll be able to…

- design a change management programme that flexes to the needs of the member firms
- roll out the programme, including workshops, calls, communications.
