Job Description
The Team:

As part of KPMG's IT Advisory practice, our Management Consulting team works with clients on a broad range of business issues, delivering strategic, operational and people related change, enabled by technology.

Our Programme, Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) capability is an area of growth for KPMG. We focus on helping our clients shape, deliver and assure large complex IT transformation initiatives. Our specific client offerings are:-

- Portfolio Management
- Programme Management
- Project Management
- PMO
- Independent Programme Assurance

As part of this team, you will be working on an exciting range of transformation initiatives for a diverse range of clients.
KPMG are growing their IMG MC TE PPM team to meet an ever increasing demand for our market leading services and are seeking IT management consultants with relevant expertise and experience.

The Role

- Developing lasting client relationships and actively building a network and range of experience to help address client needs
- Provide compelling and well thought out solutions to problems of moderate complexity

You will join a great team and take a key role in helping shape, manage and deliver business transformation programmes across a range of prestigious clients. As well as having the opportunity to be part of leading edge Cloud ERP enabled programmes you will also be involved in helping shape and drive the practice strategy and support the development and mentoring of more junior team members. Typical activities you will be involved in will include:

- Helping our clients shape their Cloud enabled business transformation programmes including, helping develop the business case and the the roadmap/approach to to deliver
- Supporting the delivery of these large and complex Cloud ERP enabled business transformation programmes, typically as a member of the programme leadership team.
- Supporting business development activities including contributing to and presenting proposals/ bids for future work
- Undertaking quality reviews of in-flight programmes to ensure delivery on track to time, cost, quality, budget and benefits
- Maintaining an in depth understanding of current Cloud ERP industry trends
- Contributing to service development through sharing of experience and programme and project management tools and techniques
- Actively contributing to the global people agenda including people management and mentoring.

We are looking for you to be a passionate and motivated individual who has strong consulting skills and able to work with senior level executives to deliver large multi-year buisness transformations enabled by Cloud ERP technologies. Typically we are looking for individuals with the following backgrounds:
- Demonstrable ERP programme delivery experience across FTSE 250 firms.
- Experience of a number of full lifecycle ERP deployments (typically 2+)

Essential

- Experience of leading projects from design to implementation, or in the case of larger more complex projects experience as a workstream lead accountable for a given area
- Excellent consulting, stakeholder management and communication skills to allow you to guide teams
- Solid understanding of programme & project management techniques / tools and how these can be applied to help deliver success for our clients.
- Project management skills (e.g. planning, reporting, budgeting, risk / issue management, team leadership).
- A thorough understanding of all phases in a standard project delivery methodology.
- Experience of managing teams

Desirable

- Entrepreneurial spirit - experience of being involved in and leading proposals and bid development.
- Experience of Cloud ERP implementations
- Project management qualification (Prince 2, MSP, PMI, PPM)
