The Powered Apps teams are communities of technology focussed professionals who work together to deliver KPMG Powered Enterprise though a standardised delivery model, which drives professional delivery to clients. The teams use their functional knowledge and experience (e.g. Finance, HR, Procurement), coupled with their expertise in the cloud applications (e.g. Oracle, Workday, Coupa) to lead and deliver client programmes, support pre-sales activities and develop improvement and extensions to Powered Enterprise. KPMG are growing their S&D - Powered Apps team to meet an ever-increasing demand for our market leading services and are seeking a Head of Powered Procurement consultants with relevant expertise and experience.

Job Description

The Team: The adoption of professional powered procurement consultancy skills continues at pace and we continue to see that most Procurement transformation programmes demand SME support, and every successful Procurement programme involves some ground-breaking activity. Complimentary to this is the offering of non-powered consultancy services

At KPMG’s highly successful Management Consulting practice, we’re working with Financial Services clients to help them understand how powered procurement consultancy services can drive business performance. As such, we’re looking for outstanding procurement team members to join us, grow with us, and develop our Procurement delivery capability, driving our strategy through large-scale Procurement transformation. Part of a developing team in Financial Services that will become our ‘go to’ for FS Powered Procurement requirements, you will play a key role in the growing of our propositions to work on large programmes. At its core, this is a real opportunity to be part of our growing powered procurement delivery team and influence within a fast-growing business area. To join us, therefore, you’ll need to be inquisitive and have a strong, informed point of view. Of course, this will need to be balanced with an unwavering client focus. You’ll have excellent listening skills, and a good understanding of how to help Financial Services clients reach their desired outcomes. We’re looking for self-starters with the natural ability to encourage confidence and empower change. On the technical side, you’ll need a good general understanding of end-to-end Procurement technology solutions such as Coupa.

The Person: We are looking for individuals with a passion for consultancy and powered procurement projects. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about the benefits that supply chain transformation can bring.
We are seeking a talented individual with the drive and enthusiasm who thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a very important role within the team, requiring a balance of professionalism, inquisitiveness, practice, and a passion for client delivery.
• A good knowledge of system implementation of procurement software is essential - Coupa systems knowledge is preferred or other similar solutions
• Prior experience through project lifecycle of a software implementation is essential
• Integration of how SAAS solutions integrate with backend ERP
• Ability to navigate large complex programmes within complex enterprises
• A good knowledge of the current procurement market
• Experience with business analysis and serve as a translation layer between technology and business
• Relevant experience with other Big 4 and/or System integrators is a big plus, but not essential
• Good presentation and analytical skills
• Great communication and articulation skills

• Other core consulting skills, may including planning and delivering workshops, process mapping, testing strategy, data gathering and analysis

UK based. Depending on Client location you will be required to travel and work away from home for periods of time (UK, Europe and internationally), so will need to be willing to demonstrate flexibility.
