Context and Background

The Global Clients & Markets team deliver on the firm’s ambition by driving execution, consistency and efficiency of sales and Go To Market processes, therefore enabling Global Lead Partners and their teams with an ability to leverage the right resources, solution, knowledge and processes to ensure KPMG wins by delivering brand defining work at brand defining clients.

This is a UK based role, and some international travel will be required. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and expected to deliver to tight deadlines.

Role & Responsibilities

The individual in this role will be responsible for the roll-out of the annual process including:
- Agree on the requirements and timeline for the roll-out of the annual planning process
- Review, revise and deliver a process which allows global teams to formulate and communicate their global ambition
- Drive the implementation of the process with rigor and passion to ensuring Global Sector & Account teams have the resources and training available to create high quality plans such as supporting tools and guidance materials, training sessions and offshore support
- Provide support and briefing materials to sectors
- Liaise with the Offshore Platform Lead to manage the offshore support requirements
- Effectively manage the implementation of the process to ensure timely completion
- Post completion, prepare and interpret the outcomes

Key Accountabilities
30% - Define and implement the global account planning process, own the project plan and overall implementation of the process
30% - Follow up with member firms markets teams on the progress with enablers, explaining the business case
20% - Review and report on progress made against key planning KPIs
20% - Engage and educate the global sector team on account planning. Follow up on sector team accountabilities when implementing the process

Skills, Qualification and Experience Required

The following qualifications and technical skills are mandatory to perform the job and the successful candidate will have:
- Strong program, project and change management experience, and evidence of successfully delivering projects including those which implement change
- CPE or equivalent qualification
- Experience of working in or working with a shared service / offshore environment with evidence to show this
- Experience of the KPMG commercial environment through sales, business development, sector experience (if internal applicant)

The successful candidate must have/be:

- Experience of working in a high pressure, professional, international working environment, and for different sectors
- Offshore working experience either in managing a shared service offering of working in an offshore environment
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to work with and influence diverse stakeholders in a dynamic international environment
- Pursuits experience in a large global audit & non-audit pursuit management
- Experience managing large budgets and reporting to project stakeholders
- Solid understanding of the KPMG matrix structure, communities and culture highly beneficial (if internal applicant)
- Experience in working closely with different teams including an account team, in order to leverage best practices when engaging with Global Accounts.
- People and change experience and organisational engagement experience
- Experience in managing a large offshore team
- Excellent knowledge of other Microsoft software including Outlook, Word &, Excel and PowerPoint.
