Our Operations team of approximately 90 consultants are seeking experienced consultants and industry professionals to help us achieve our growth ambitions to double the size of the team over the next 3 years.

We help our clients not only to resolve their biggest Supply Chain problems, but to transform their Supply Chain functions to drive differentiation in the marketplace, deliver superior customer experience and competitive advantage.

We support our clients with complex commercial and transformational engagements in our four core areas including but not limited to; Digital Supply Chain Strategy: Defining the digital strategy, operating model and technology ecosystem to drive step change in performance. Cost to Serve and SC Segmentation: Supply Chain segmentation through powerful analytics to optimise the delivery system around the customer experience that allows for the greatest economic return. Network Optimisation: Development and test of optimisation scenarios that ensure network operations support the outcomes demanded by the business.

Integrated Business: Planning Powered Supply Chain – an end-to-end solution to deliver cross-enterprise alignment of planning and execution processes to improve predictability and financial performance.

You will work with colleagues from across KPMGs capabilities (including Strategy, Finance Transformation, Global Business Services, CIO Advisory, Customer and Digital) to deliver multi-disciplinary solutions, at the forefront of technology.

The Role

We are seeking a Manager experienced in Supply Chain Transformation, with a proven track record of delivering technology enabled change to join our team. We are looking for someone with a strong background of providing transformative operating models by leveraging data-led insights and ensuring effective implementation of cutting-edge technologies – however, it will be advantageous if you also have broader Supply Chain experience.

The successful candidate will be expected to:
Lead analytics workstreams on large transformation engagements or leading smaller SC analytics engagements.
Carry out end to end supply chain reviews and identity bottle necks and operational inefficiencies across planning, procurement, inbound, warehousing, inventory, outbound transport and returns processes.
Identify improvement opportunities using a suite of qualitative and quantitative methods.
Map physical supply chain movements and identify opportunities for optimisation within the supply chain network.
Contribute towards practice development to improve existing and identify new SC analytics propositions and solutions.

The Person

Essential Experience:
Proven success in integrating planning, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing and distribution management, as well as improving end-to-end effectiveness.
Experience in developing supply chain strategies and transformation roadmaps, which include well-supported solutions to complex operational challenges.
Experience undertaking and leading elements of supply chain transformation programmes, including the implementation and deployment of technology.
Experience working as a workstream lead on large engagements or as a project manager on smaller scale engagements.
Experience communicating compelling and well-thought-out results and recommendations from analysis of complex datasets to a range of audience types.
Knowledge of Supply Chain network optimisation and modelling technologies.
Stakeholder management.

Desirable Experience:
Prior consulting experience within supply chain / operations consulting.
Blue Chip, FTSE 100, Fortune 500 company or central Government experience.
Familiarity with Agile principles and project management methodology e.g. Scrum.
Knowledge of the current supply chain technology market.
Knowledge of Supply Chain network optimisation and modelling technologies.
Experience of change management in complex multi-business unit / multi-geography environments.

Location:
Depending on Client location you will be required to travel and work away from home for periods of time and will need to be willing to demonstrate flexibility.

The role will be based in Canary Wharf, London.
