The Role

- Developing lasting client relationships and actively building a network and range of experience to help address client needs

- Provide compelling and well thought out solutions to problems of moderate complexity

The Solution Architect plays a key role in both pre-sales and delivery, helping KPMG to design and implement solutions based on the ServiceNow platform.

Essential

- Expert knowledge of the ServiceNow platform

- Expert knowledge of the ServiceNow ITSM suite of applications

- Leading the technical delivery of transformation projects based on the ServiceNow platform including management of offshore development teams

- Leading the platform design including integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise solutions using: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS.

- Certified ServiceNow System Administrator and Implementation Specialist

- Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies

- Provide technical input into the sales cycle including solutioning, estimating, creating and presenting client proposals

- Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies

Desirable

- Expert knowledge of ServiceNow applications beyond ITSM (e.g. SecOps, HR, CSM)

- Understanding of common business analysis techniques and approaches

The Person

- Anticipates the viewpoint of others, listens and addresses concerns

- Builds co-operative relationships and fosters an environment in which everyone’s opinion is valued

- Provides on-going feedback, coaching and mentoring that supports individuals development needs and career aspirations

- Proactively engages in cross-functional communications and sharing of information.

Essential

- 5+ years of experience in Service Management toolset implementation with a minimum 2 years ServiceNow acting as technical lead

- Consulting / professional services experience.

- Design of complex integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise solutions using: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS.

- Experience of working with Agile SDLC methodologies

- Pre-sales experience for ServiceNow solutions

Desirable

- Experience of leading offshore development teams

- Experience of working alongside business analysts to define a solution

- Experience of leading a technical work stream within large implementations

- Experience of ServiceNow products other than ITSM e.g. security, ITOM, HR
