Job DescriptionAs a manager within the newly created our Boardroom Leadership Centre team there is an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of senior people (internally and externally) in supporting the induction and professional development of non-executive directors through the provision of updates, tools and thought leadership; as well as helping the Board Leadership Centre team deliver peer-to-peer exchange breakfasts/dinners/seminars.

The responsibilities include:
- Liaising with functions, sectors and marketing leads to help develop and differentiate our ‘offerings’ to the non-executive community
- Developing ‘professional development’ updates and tools for the non-executive community
- Liaising with FTSE150 board members and KPMG SMEs to develop and disseminate thought leadership pertinent to board members
- Reviewing corporate governance reports and responding to governance queries from our audit teams
- Assisting with briefings and updates for FTSE350 board, committees and individual directors.
- Keeping abreast of - and contributing to – corporate governance consultations and other developments
- Supporting the global Board Leadership Centre network and contributing to global Board Leadership Centre projects
- Monitoring competitor activity

Qualifications and Skills

- Post ACA or equivalent qualified
- Working knowledge of the UK corporate governance framework
- Strong project management skills
- Willingness to become BRC approved
