Job Description

KPMG UK Audit are undertaking a significant transformational change programme to ensure our audits continue to meet the highest regulatory requirements and to enhance our existing competencies of effective governance, risk management and control.

Integral to this programme is a need to provide analysis and greater understanding of our current operation, alongside monitoring the costs & benefits of our many change programmes, through professional, accessible and meaningful management information (MI).

As a result, we are looking to recruit a MI & Data Modelling Manager with advanced excel skills, who will lead the production and analysis of management information to provide key insights to the Transformation team for analysis and decision making. This role will be part of the wider team under the Audit Chief
Transformation Officer, based in London.



Reporting to the Audit Transformation Programme Director and working closely with Project owners and SME’s to design, build, and deliver robust and effective MI reporting

Provide meaningful and valuable insight to support multiple project plans, meeting information requirements for regulatory governance, and drive business change

Engaging with key stakeholders in the Transformation team to identify MI needs that provide clear, meaningful, and insightful information to the project. You will be working on more than one project at any time

Working with the process improvement project team to evaluate existing processes and technologies, and support the project by running cost efficiency options through excel based models to evaluate possible alternatives for change to help make informed decisions

Work collaboratively with colleagues within the wider transformation team to anticipate the future impact on reporting process and MI needs

Support the Transformation team in understanding the ‘art of possible’, by providing MI models and business analysis for project teams as required.

Desired Skills and Experience


Advanced Excel skills

Proven, extensive experience of following MI best practices: Previous experience in a business analysis, MI or reporting role is essential

Good PowerPoint presentation skills will be desirable, but not essential

Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to engage and communicate across all organisational levels including senior leadership and middle management

Flexible, collaborative, proactive and comfortable working in a fluid environment

Used to working under pressure to meet tight deadlines

Experience managing multiple deliverables, with stakeholders and customers and data providers across different teams, with different reporting lines

Previous experience with other reporting and data visualisation tools helpful (such as PowerBI and Qlik Sense), but not essential

Previous experience in an Audit environment within the Big 4 would be advantageous, but not essential
