In order to support the growth of our capabilities within the Insurance TS team, we are currently looking for Analysts who can make a significant contribution by combining an understanding of the banking industry with transformation and optimisation capabilities.
Successful candidates will operate as integral parts of the Insurance TS team to deliver the following:

— Performing diagnostic analysis, through applying analytic techniques on large operational transformation engagements.
— Service delivery in Digital Operations, such as digital solutions and data and analytics.
— Facilitating client workshops to scope and design transformational solutions.
— Supporting workstreams through all of the key stages of a transformation project, from diagnostic to implementation.
— Support in mitigating risks and issues throughout the delivery lifecycle.
— Developing and continually improving solutions, methodologies and tools to deliver consistent world class operating excellence capability.
— Contributing capability experience to proposition development and to proposals / bids.

Leadership & Management:
Analysts can expect to shape and manage deliverables independently, challenging existing approaches and offering an alternative viewpoint. They will also assist in the planning, delivery and risk management for their scope of work.

Stakeholder Interaction & challenges:
Our Analysts will interact with the broader team on a regular basis. There will be continuous and direct client engagement.

Impact, Risk, Accountability & Governance:
Our Analysts will operate in the Regulatory Driven Transformation connected pillar within Management Consulting, specifically aligned to the Insurance TS service line.

Experience
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in some / all of the following capability areas:
— Supporting work streams or entire projects through all of the key stages of a project, from initiation to implementation.
— Designing and developing organisations strategy, target operating model and implementation plan.
— Establishing and maintaining organisational business/capability architecture, including service definition, prioritisation and mapping.
— Designing and developing solutions to enable clients to apply regulatory requirements.
— Designing new processes across the banking product lifecycle, with a focus on operational effectiveness and customer experience.
— Supporting in the identification and mitigation of risks and issues throughout the delivery lifecycle.
— Developing and continually improving solutions, methodologies and tools to deliver consistent world class operating excellence capability.
— Execution of opportunities to enhance banking processes through the application of Robotic Process Automation.
— Design and implementation of Artificial Intelligence solutions.
— Design and implementation of Digitally-enhanced Operating Models using workflow solutions (e.g. IBM, Appian), robotics (Blue Prism / UI Path) and data-led decisioning.

Expertise / Technical role requirements
— An understanding of the Insurance industry including the services and businesses processes provided to customers.
— Knowledge of underlying insurance industry technologies, and the ability to identify and articulate resultant client opportunities and challenges.
— An understanding of the key drivers shaping the future of the Insurance industry, including regulation and new business models, and resultant opportunities for KPMG.

Skills:
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate skills in some / all of the following:

— Working in multidisciplinary teams in a co-creation environment with clients and KPMG colleagues.

— Core consulting methodologies such as process mapping, business case development, strategy development and requirements gathering.
— An understanding of digital design methodologies such as service design, business model canvas, design thinking and implementation.
— Business Analyst skills including experience in documenting business and technology requirements, process mapping and facilitating workshops.
— Problem identification, solving and design for both user and business needs.
— Excellent written and oral presentation skills with an inspirational and collaborative style.
— Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
