As a member of the Ignition team you will play an important role in delivering all aspects of Ignition, from events run within the Centre, virtual sessions run remotely, to hybrid events combining virtual and physical aspects and from service delivery to client experience. Working together we will spark ideas we haven’t even dreamed of yet and turn these into reality for clients and colleagues alike.

The Role

• To support the delivery of physical, hybrid and virtual collaboration events and interactions. This will involve a primary focus on co-ordinating pre-event logistics, including setting up virtual tooling and managing the space/environment
• To manage and maintain the environment within the centre day-to-day, ensuring it is always in a ‘client ready’ state
• To drive continuous improvement in the centre and virtual events collaboration methods
• To act as an ambassador for Ignition Services and contribute to the overall development of the venture
• To support the Operations Team and wider Ignition Services team in ad hoc tasks and projects which support the day to day running of the venture

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate, prepare and set up the environment (hybrid/virtual or face to face) within the centre for client and internal collaboration events/ interactions, acting as an expert in environment set up. Taking ownership for key tasks as required
• Co-ordinate pre event logistics including but not limited to; booking krew, hotels and catering
• During events, fulfil the environment management role for virtual, hybrid or in person events, and other roles where required
• On smaller, internal events, liaise with project teams to understand requirements and support them in their work
• Drive the continuous improvement of knowledge worker activities and processes (event prep, delivery and output processes)
• Contribute to the development of the Ignition Services venture as a whole, including creating and maintaining reporting documents
• Providing technical facilitator support during virtual and hybrid events
• Providing technical input into session design discussions
• Maintain the centre environment, ensuring it is always ‘client ready’

The Person

• Attention to detail and ability to produce high quality outputs in accelerated timeframes
• Strong proactivity and can do attitude with a desire to develop an understanding of Ignition Services and associated skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in working with multiple stakeholder groups
• Knowledge of, and experience in, setting up collaborative, workshop environments
• Strong communication and team-working skills
• Flexibility in approach and ability to react to fast-paced decision making and changes in delivery approaches
• Highly skilled across all MS Office packages, specifically PowerPoint and Excel

Skills/ qualification desired but not essential:

• Experience of supporting the delivery of high profile workshops/ large scale client events/ training
• Understanding of collaborative working methodologies, tools, techniques and approaches
• Experience of virtual collaboration tools including Miro, CoCreate, MS Teams, Zoom, Mural
• Graphic artistry/ facilitation and scribing skills
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience setting up and operating vision/sound mixers and switchers
