As a member of the Ignition team you will play an important role in delivering all aspects of Ignition, with a specific focus on the design and delivery of client-facing Discovery, Immersion, Break-through, U-Collaborate and Sprint services. Working together, we will spark ideas we haven’t even dreamed of yet and turn these into reality for clients and colleagues alike.

The benefits of the role:

o Working with senior clients day to day - opportunity to work with clients on solving their biggest and most complex challenges in very accelerated timescales, motivating, challenging and influencing them every step of the way
o Influencing challenging transformation engagements – each team member is, in essence, working on a number of very accelerated transformation engagements (identify, design, build, deliver, review) at any one time – with each lasting around 6 weeks
o Learn the Ignition approach and ways of working – and how to design and facilitate with impact/ presence with a senior audience – develop your understanding of the design and facilitation methods and approach and how to put this into practice.
o Dynamic physical, virtual and hybrid environments – learn to deliver in multiple modes of working and influence the continuous improvement of these
o Dealing with high ambiguity plus high intensity and ‘risk and reward’ scenarios - Ignition experiences are typically triggered when senior clients need urgent/ critical help in solving issues – this means the stakes are high for the client and for KPMG and the route to the ‘answer’ is often challenging to find/ navigate and define requiring ultimate flexibility, perseverance, influencing skills and an ability to work under pressure and to very tight timelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with the Lead Facilitator, help senior clients to understand and unpack their most complex challenges to enable effective event design
• Learn and understand the Ignition approach to event scoping, design and delivery. Use appropriate strategic or design thinking to support effective event design.
• Project manage the design and delivery of complex, high profile client events and interactions, including preparation/ production of inputs for client design meetings and events
• Work with KPMG and client teams to ensure any event is integrated within the client engagement and ensure the smooth execution of planning, design and delivery
• Support the facilitation of design meetings and some aspect of events (where appropriate), developing presentation, facilitation and influencing skills plus overall presence and impact
• Manage production of event outputs/deliverables after each event, working closely with KPMG project teams
• To actively promote and link up Ignition with coverage and capability areas, identifying opportunities, contributing to proposals and driving pipeline
• Support the continuous improvement of the team by supporting an agreed internal venture initiative, which may include sales, marketing, knowledge, technology etc.

Skills/ experience required:

• Strong all-round core consulting skills with experience in delivering client facing projects driving transformation and change
• Proven project management skills and ability to drive multiple tasks forward in parallel under significant pressure
• Experience of working in client facing roles and building strong client relationships
• Experience of designing, preparing and delivering complex events or workshops (internal and client-facing)
• Attention to detail and ability to react quickly and professionally to constantly changing requirements and demands
• Some exposure to facilitation and presentation skills
• Some understanding of collaboration techniques or technologies
• Ability to produce high quality outputs in tight timeframes
• Ability to work through ambiguity and in a changing environment
