Job DescriptionThe Team

The Corporates team is focused primarily on multi-national blue chip clients. A large portion of our work is providing advice, assurance and attestation to clients on their IT systems, processes and projects; and IT risks and controls. Our team of specialists provide independent, jargon free advice and advanced technology capabilities to help our clients proactively manage their technology risks and use their data to its full potential. The team is based in London.

The Role

As an IT Internal Audit Manager in our Corporates team you will manage IT auditors and subject matter experts to deliver end-to-end internal audit projects that cover a wide variety of topics across technology risks and regulatory compliance for clients. You will have direct contact with C-level stakeholders, and get a 360 degree view of our clients’ business, thereby expanding your industry knowledge to deliver insights and best practices to our clients. You will work with a diverse and talented group of people, that will help you to grow steadily within KPMG.

Key responsibilities are:

- Delivering value-added technology risk consulting, assurance and attestation services to large multi-national clients
- Providing compelling, innovative and well thought through audit approaches to complex, leading-edge technology risks for clients including in cloud, intelligent automation and robotics
- Analysing ERP-enabled core business processes within clients
- Managing scoping, delivery, financials, risk, and developing high quality deliverables in IT internal audit engagements
- Actively building and managing a network of excellent, lasting client relationships (e.g. with IT audit, compliance, or project leads) across a range of corporate clients
- Actively identifying and progressing business development opportunities, as well as managing sales activities (e.g. proposal and bid document writing, responding to RFPs and assisting with client presentations)
- Building internal networks and working collaboratively with colleagues across KPMG, particularly in the wider Internal Audit and Advisory areas
- Coaching and developing team members on engagements, and feeding back on their performance as part of our overall Performance Management process.

The Person


The successful candidate is expected to have.

Experience – Brings proven experience of successfully delivering IT assurance services (particularly IT Internal Audit) to medium/large multi-national industry clients (e.g. technology risk services, auditing and advising clients, performing project assurance) within Big 4 professional services, a dynamic IT consultancy environment, or a relevant operational role in industry.

Skills – Has demonstrable depth in one or more of:
- Emerging technology,
- Technology strategy,
- Technology platforms and Infrastructure, e.g.
- Cloud
- ERPs
- Change (transformational and programme change)
- Third/fourth party risks, controls and assurance

Has ability to:
- Present on specific subjects to groups of twenty or more people.
- Develop excellent client and internal relationships.
- Deliver work within tight timescales, to budget and to a high quality.

Holds relevant qualifications:
- In technology audit or assurance qualifications such as IIA, CISA, Prince2, ACA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC (Desirable)
- Batchelor degree qualification in technology/IT-related discipline (Desirable)
