Job Description Spanning all KPMG Services (Advisory, Tax and Audit), KPMG’s Collaboration, Innovation & Insights team is an expert capability that enables the business to continuously innovate through the below key offerings:

- Trends research and production of foresight reports
- Delivery of state of the art workshops and events for up to 120 participants (over 1 - 3 days)
- Creation of visuals (Rich Pictures, Infographics, graphics) that help internal and external clients to visualise strategies, corporate visions, systems and processes.

The graphics specialist enables our clients to ‘see their work’ through visuals, which helps them assimilate information quickly through visual facilitation: this includes the creation of rich pictures, information graphics and other methods of graphic communication.

The Role

This role is most suitable for a high-end information designer who is able to articulate complex concepts with visuals through the development of rich pictures, infographics, visual models and graphics. The job involves primarily working on the creation of visually high impact reports, high quality PowerPoint presentations and business rich pictures. Hand drawn illustration is desirable but not essential to this role.
As part of the team you will be expected to:

- Create rich pictures, infographics, visuals and presentations using digital graphics and hand drawn or computer generated illustrations.
- Design trends and foresight reports and high impact presentations - from wire framing and graphics development through to overseeing production.
- Design and develop visuals in the shape of business visions, journeys and processes for bids, presentations and other communications objectives.
- Build and maintain a library of visual icons that are compliant to our brand identity and that can be reused in presentations and documents
- Assist project teams and consultants with a creative and visual interpretation of concepts by developing simple visual identities for events and workshops.
- Provide visual support in preparation to our specialist collaborative events by ‘bringing our collaboration centre to life’ through illustrations, visuals and other graphic props.
- Flexibility to liaise with consultant and project team demands in order to produce the required output, including remote working, client site work, weekend or after-hours work.
- Provide technical knowledge and the ability to finalise ongoing / previously developed projects and manage rapid response requests for design, print and electronic deliverables
- Provide compelling and well thought out solutions to problems of moderate complexity
- Determine project scope including developing briefings, negotiating deadlines, diary management and creating & communicating timescales.
- Identify and initiate improvements to the design and execution of presentation graphics material.
- Work with team members to implement and drive internal initiatives/projects which contribute to an enhanced service offering and promote awareness within KPMG.
- May be required to undergo training in other disciplines to assist when necessary.
- Developing lasting client relationships and actively building a network and range of experience to help address client needs
- Support events and workshops as an ‘all-rounder’ when necessary, including: preparation and set up of flexible centre environment, design and staging of materials (posters, documents and props).

The Person

- Excellent Communication and graphical skills – to support visual facilitation including a very good understanding of storytelling, storyboarding, conceptualisation and excellent listening
- Proven experience in document production, creation of infographics and creative environment.
- The ability to adapt to various visual identities is important as you will be working with a variety of client brands
- Have experience of working within strict corporate branding guidelines, but also have the creative ability to deliver bespoke client material as required - Innovative approach to projects – incorporating new technologies and mediums
- Continuously improving presentations/documents
- Exceptional customer service front facing skills
- Experience of working in a time sensitive, deadline-driven environment is crucial and you must have the ability to multi-task across multiple projects
- Confidence and ability to meet with clients and be able to offer ideas and solutions
- Experience working as a graphic designer and/or illustrator for a large organisation or for an agency with large clients.
- Anticipates the viewpoint of others, listens and addresses concerns
- Builds co-operative relationships and fosters an environment in which everyone’s opinion is valued
- The ability to build client relationships is key to this role, as is flexibility and team working
- Digital illustration (freehand, tablet or using Adobe illustrator) are desirable.
- Live scribing or rich pictures experience a plus

- Degree in Graphic Design and/or related discipline.
- Able to supply an up to date portfolio of own work.

Advanced experience in:

- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Adobe Illustrator

Intermediary experience in:

- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe InDesign

Competent in:

- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel

Desirable Experience in:

- iPad Pro software (Procreate or equivalent)
- Adobe After Effects
