Manager - Global Mobility Services - Tax

We are looking for a GMS Manager to work in the People Services team working on large Corporate engagements in the non-FS sectors.

Role and Responsibilities

· Manage the day to day centrally co-ordinated global engagements and lead the junior team on these clients
· Build, maintain and lead strong relationships with the clients
· Take ownership for the centrally co-ordinated finances on the engagements
· Working closely with the UK Client Service Team, Social Security Team and Employment Tax team to ensure a proactive service delivery
· Day to day contact for cross-border case management for the clients’ Global Mobility / Employment Taxes teams
· Ensuring clients are provided with up to date information on relevant global tax developments
· Working closely with the wider KPMG GMS network to support local teams with engagement training, case escalation and proactive service
· Project management of cross-border advisory projects carried out for clients
· Engagement in the UK advisory projects - covering tax, Social Security, process, policy and efficiencies
· Responsibility for reporting to clients on global compliance & global engagements SLAs/KPIs
· Carry out arrival/departure briefings for senior assignees
· Get involved in business development/proposals
· Managing and coaching of staff

Qualifications and Skills

·ACA/ATT/CTA qualified or equivalent preferred

Experience and Background
· Previous experience working in expatriate tax services (UK or US tax experience strongly preferred)
· Energetic, committed, and ambitious
· High level personal responsibility and accountability for team work
· Ability to identify core issues, investigates, evaluates and integrates information
· Communicates with impact, both in speech and writing, and in a way that is open, honest, consistent, and clear
