Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
This is a senior leadership role within our KPMG Nunwood business, focused on driving growth within the UK. It has a specific focus on “insights” (incorporating customer research, data, analytics and technology).

Customer and Digital is one of the fastest growing and most strategically exciting service lines within KPMG. As a major part of this, the KPMG Nunwood team provide the insights and customer experience expertise that set the direction for downstream change or transformation. With the continuing explosion of new technologies and analytical tools, we focus on creating new propositions and connecting them to other parts of KPMG.

The successful candidate will join a small senior leadership team, responsible for steering this strategy, implementing it with clients and delivering the next phase of our growth. It is very much hands on, combining excellent personal gravitas and a background in insights, with a flair for business development, strategy and building lasting client relationships.
Whilst the successful candidate will ultimately have the opportunity to work across sectors, the role’s initial focus will be on financial services.

- Senior leader, accountable for strategy, clients and growth;
- Specific focus on financial services
- Draw on extensive practical experience of how customer insights, data and analytics can drive profitable action for clients;
- Take a big picture view, driving clients’ success by leading major engagements, often connecting insights and customer experience work to KPMG’s wider consulting offer;
- End-to-end leadership of the client lifecycle, from originating new opportunities, leading pitches / proposals, to overseeing accounts and long-term relationships;
- Own clear commercial targets at each of these stages, across an agreed portfolio;
- Incorporate best practices in customer experience, whilst drawing on deep industry and consulting expertise from within KPMG;
- Build on your existing personal brand, by authoring thought leadership and acting as a publically acknowledged public expert for insights & customer experience.

Experience and Background

- Substantial experience within data, analytics or insight leadership roles, showing increasing accountability and commercial impact;
- Evidence of an outstanding track record for business development and driving long-term growth;
- A background applying cutting edge thinking to client / industry challenges to deliver proven results;
- Demonstrable expertise of building teams, businesses or delivering growth;
- An ability to work in a complex, face-paced environment, delivering success for your team and clear impact for your clients.
- Prior roles in major consulting firms or global insight agencies (e.g. Big 4 / MBB / WPP);
- Some experience of working within financial services, either as an advisor or within industry;
- Excellent academics – as a minimum a strong undergraduate degree; preferably in a relevant subject area.

- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification;
- Significant background working in financial services, with both insight / secondment and consultancy roles;
- Technical expertise in voice of the customer, data analytics, multivariate predictive modelling, artificial intelligence and associated software / platforms;
