As a Senior Leader within the Ignition team you will play an important role in shaping the future strategy for Ignition and delivering on its value proposition both internally and externally.

What do we mean by Lead Facilitation in an Ignition context?

- Ignition experiences include small and large scale, client-facing, accelerated problem-solving events which last between 1 day and 3 days and agile sprints which last up to 2 weeks
- These events draw on a variety of methodologies from MG Taylor to Design Thinking to Systems Thinking to Agile
- They are delivered in multiple formats – in person, virtual and hybrid
- The Lead Facilitator role is accountable for the outcomes and outputs of each event and will lead the design process with the client sponsor group and the ultimate delivery / ‘front of room’ facilitation
- Director-level Lead Facilitation will include highly complex events which require advanced group facilitation expertise and conflict resolution skills
- Significant experience in a client-facing environment of the above is a pre-requisite for this role

Purpose of the role:

- To act as senior leader within the Ignition team accountable for driving impact, performance and external brand/ reputation through the world class delivery of Ignition services
- To sell, shape and deliver (facilitate) transformational Ignition experiences/ events within KPMG’s most complex programmes for senior, C Suite clients in priority accounts
- To drive the development of Ignition services and deliver the associated go to market strategy
- To drive the reputation of Ignition (internally and externally) and associated services building strong sector/ service line/ client relationships
- To act as a leading, trusted expert in Ignition capabilities within the firm and by senior clients
- To drive the continuous improvement, differentiation and evolution of the Ignition capability

Key Responsibilities:

- As a member of the Ignition Leadership team, contribute to the ongoing development of the Ignition venture strategy, priorities and team
- Sell and promote Ignition services in key accounts/ service lines acting as an ‘Ignition partner’ to agreed areas of the business taking accountability for delivering on related specific targets
- Manage executive level client sponsor relationships throughout the sales/delivery lifecycle of Ignition services (specifically breakthrough / U-Collaborate and sprint services)
- Act as an Ignition Lead Facilitator driving the design and delivery of complex, high profile collaborative events and/ or sprints (specifically breakthrough / U-Collaborate and sprint services) in physical, virtual and hybrid formats
- Lead the delivery of Ignition related content within high profile client pitches and development of client proposals
- Sponsor the continuous improvement of specific services/ focus areas within the venture
- Embed Ignition services effectively into specific, identified, priority KPMG propositions and offerings
- Manage and develop members of the Ignition team and pro-actively contribute to the ongoing learning and development culture within the Ignition team
- Act as role model within KPMG in collaboration methods, tools and concepts

Skills/ experience required:

- Highly experienced, Director level, client-facing lead facilitator with experience of the design and facilitation of large scale collaborative events across face to face, virtual and hybrid modes
- Strong understanding of, and experience in, the application of collaborative tools and methods including MG Taylor, design thinking and systems thinking and or agile sprint methodologies in an event/ workshop context
- Significant experience in a consulting role, focussing on strategic, people and/ or technology transformation
- Experience of leadership roles in similar ventures
- Experience in selling to, and working with, senior, C-Suite clients and building long lasting client relationships
- Senior leadership team experience driving a venture to evolve, perform against financial targets and continuously improve
- Ability to lead large teams and expertise in high performance team ways of working
- Strong project management skills and proven ability to lead multiple strands of high profile, complex activity/ projects
- An appreciation of collaboration technologies and the digital enablement of analogue environments
