Forensic - Using specialist accounting, investigation and business skills in assisting clients involved in commercial or regulatory disputes or in the investigation of fraud and impropriety. Working in the team will mean getting involved in a broad range of projects, i.e. Fraud investigations, and tracing assets.

Job Description
KPMG are looking for a senior manager with strong consulting skills who can help lead a team and build in a business focusing on risk analytics - detecting risks for clients through the use of analytics, on both structured and unstructured data (voice analytics and text analytics).

The majority of clients will be in financial services with a focus on market abuse and financial crime. This role is part of KPMG’s Forensics Data Analytics practice.

The successful candidate will have strong consulting skills with a broad understanding of using data analytics and technology to resolve client’s problems to drive insight from large volumes of data including the detection of risks.

The candidate must be able to work with clients and help grow business and drive new revenue. This includes expanding existing work, identifying new opportunities and creating and delivering sales materials.

The Role


This role will involve working alongside strong technical staff, including Data Analysts, DBAs and Data Scientists. The candidate must be able to translate the technology capability to business capability to support the client.

Key Responsibilities:

- The ability to understand client’s issues, devise innovative solutions to address them and then work with the technical team to deliver the solution to the client.

- Market Presence: The ability to work with clients, to support them in addressing their issues and driving new business.

- Strong consulting skills: Working with clients to devise solutions, becoming the main point of contact for clients.

- Deliverables: Overseeing and creating high quality outputs for clients in the form of presentations, slideware and written reports as well as developing new and innovative consulting offerings.

- Building Relationships: Building and sustaining relationships with clients and internally within KPMG.

- Developing Others: Giving clear direction, constructive feedback and coaching of colleagues.

The Person


Qualifications and Skills:

- Experience of sales and business consulting within the Financial Services industry
- Good understanding of methods relating to data analytics and data visualization
- Strong presentation and written skills

Experience and Background:

The ideal candidate will have a strong consulting background with extensive experience in consulting in relation to data analytics, with good knowledge of current technologies and issues in the financial sector.

They will have experience running multiple projects and large work streams in this area with very strong written, presentation and communication skills.

- Creating and delivering client presentations
