About the team
Global Collaboration & Knowledge is a core function of the Global Technology & Knowledge portfolio. The team is responsible for the collaboration and knowledge strategy for KPMG International and its different business and internal functions (e.g. Global Audit/Tax/Advisory, Clients & Markets, etc.) Additionally, the GC&K team works shoulder-to-shoulder with the member firms to drive consistency in technology, standards and frameworks. More specifically the team is responsible for:

- M365 Adoption within KPMGI / member firms
- Working to establish best practice for internal and client collaboration
- Providing research and knowledge services to support the growth of the firm.
GC&K is also responsible for the management of a service delivery team in KGS (~100+ members) who support both KPMG International and member firms with client engagements as well as technology

Role summary
The role of Content Lead is split into managing both internal and external content on behalf of the Global Collaboration & Knowledge team.

Internal Content:
The internal content tools and programmes which GC&K own and operate include Engagement Information and KPMG Facts & Figures. In this role you would be responsible for the adoption, improvement and overall engagement of both these data sets and their resulting technology (SharePoint Online). Through the great adoption of these tools KPMG will be better places to engage with the market and ultimately grow our market share.

Engagement Information equips:
client-facing professionals with standardized summaries of previous engagements experience to support their bids and business development efforts.

KPMG Facts & Figures:
provides users with self-service access to core, up-to-date KPMG data and information for use in pursuits, proposals and client presentations.

The maintainance of the global taxonomy for our portal technology is a vital role which involves stakeholder management and building a trusted group of member firm representatives who work together to ensure there is commonality in the way we structure and present our content.

Lastly, GC&K works with global functions and member firms on the quality of their content by using data analytics to review and update meta-data, tagging and other information to ensure the right content is delivered to our professionals at the right time.

External Content:
GC&K is responsible for managing a number of key global external content providers. In this role you would be responsibile for constantly the vendor landscape, build and maintain relationships externally and seek to gain access to the best (based on user requirements) content, working with Global Procurement and OGC to manage cost and risk.

Key accountabilities
- 20% - Work with current creditial tools and data sources to drive innovation and adoption of a central repository of business creditials. The adoption and product enhancement will be core to this role.
- 20% - Manage and enhance the current KPMG Facts & Figures data set. This tool is used by a number of business functions and member firms in the preparation of proposals and scopes of work. The continued evolution of this tool and data sets is key.
- 20% - Work with the global portal (One Intranet) team on management and guidelines around taxonomy.
- 20% - Continued development of our internal content analytics tools to ensure we are are delivering the best content through our many search services.
- 20% - "Actively develop your own internal network of customers and stakeholders.
- 20% - Work to develop an inclusive, fail forward culture within GC&K and performance management of junior staff and their pathways within KPMG. "

Experience & knowledge
- Experience in project delivery
- Professional services experience ideal
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills with existing (or ability to quickly establish) strong relationships with stakeholder individuals and groups at all levels.
- Solid business acumen, including financial literacy and ability to translate complex data and information into meaningful insights
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze contract documents, project reports, and synthesize report findings into forward looking recommendations for project performance improvement "

Technical skills, abilities & qualifications
- Project Management
- Collaboration tools experience
- Understanding of knowledge management processes and how to enhance these using technology
- Experience with M365 and other Microsoft collaboration and knowledge technology. "
