The Role

We are looking to recruit an Analyst who can support the continued success of our market leading Capital Markets advisory team. They will help grow the Capital Markets proposition by supporting client engagements, business development activities and value propositions.
We are looking for an individual who has a growth mindset, is highly motivated and passionate about what they do. Capital markets and transformation experience is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Support engagements / workstreams covering:
- advisory and implementation support, and
- post implementation independent reviews
• Assist business impact assessments and target operating model design / reviews
• Support projects through all of the key stages of a transformation project, from diagnostic to implementation.
• Support programme management of change engagements
• Help formulate propositions and solutions that meet client requirements
• Business development support across key market propositions
• Build and maintain client relationships within the sector, leveraging industry content and delivery capability

The Person

• Experience in a major Capital Market institution’s internal consulting team or change function (business or technology) or experience in an external consulting firm (e.g. Big 4, Boutique, Strategy, Technology) would be useful
• Exposure/experience in core consulting methodologies such as process mapping, business case development, strategy development and requirements gathering.
• Experience in assisting the delivery of change programmes across sell side, buy side or financial market infrastructure firms. Key topics could include; large scale business and technology transformation projects (e.g. migration to new platforms, development of new digital business models) or responding to regulatory driven changes (ESG, IDPR, LIBOR)
• Experience in initiation through to implementation of change projects covering business impact assessment, requirements analysis and change delivery would be valuable
• Experience in business or technology analysis
• Strong skills in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Team player with a willingness to learn and get involved
• Demonstrated commitment to challenge themselves, seek out opportunities and ability to grow with the role
• Self-aware with strong interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to build authentic client relationships
