You’ll often be tackling challenges that are at the heart of client’s investment decisions, enjoying the opportunity to grow your commercial understanding, while also developing specialist technical skills and studying for valuable professional qualifications.

The Capital Allowances team is a dynamic and successful area of KPMG’s Tax practice. The team works with a wide range of organisations and individuals that incur significant expenditure on acquiring and constructing assets.
The team consists of chartered surveyors and tax and accounting specialists, many of which are dual qualified.
Opportunities exist for a Manager within the Capital Allowances Advisory Services group of our Tax function situated in London. Applicants should be prepared for some travel in this role

Roles and Responsibilities

- Working collaboratively, assisting with the delivery of client engagements
- Keeping documentation up to date
- Sharing knowledge
- Preparing capital allowance claims for submission to HM Revenue & Customs
- Assisting management in the preparation of proposals
- Assisting in the preparation of technical queries from other parts of the firm

Experience and Background

- Strong academic background including a degree minimum 2:1
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified or equivalent professional qualification

You may already be working in a professional services background with experience within tax or alternatively a qualified accountant with a background in audit looking to develop your career within tax
