Overview and role context

KPMG’s vision is to be the Clear Choice for our clients, our people and in our chosen markets. Engaging with clients and developing trusted relationships is a cornerstone in the successful execution of our client account strategy, and a key element of the KPMG Way. We need to be at the top table with our clients, understand their business and personal agendas, and build strong, lasting relationships with key influencers and leaders of the future.

Within Market Development, our Strategic Relationship Programmes support this vision with market-facing programmes that invest in building long-term authentic relationships with key client individuals, including current and future decision makers. Each of our four core programmes plays a critical but distinct role in ensuring we have the right relationships in place with the right individuals and across the right communities:

The UK Alumni Programme
- The Board Relationship programme
- The C-Suite Leadership Programme
- The C-Suite Spotlight

This role sits within the Strategic Relationships team, as part of Market Development.

There are around 15 people within Strategic Relationships, across the four programmes.

Working alongside the Vice Chairs, the Board Relationship Programme (BRP) aims to drive transformational change in how we build long term

- Act as a first point of contact for Number Twenty membership nomination requests; checking client job roles on BoardEx and other research tools to ensure the proposed member meets the necessary criteria
- Using own judgement to form a view on whether those outside of the standard Number Twenty criteria should be offered membership, liaising with the wider team and nominating partner for information
- Ensure membership lists and data is up to date on both CRM and RS records
- Take ownership to track and manage changes to client profiles
- Support KPMG’s regulatory requirements, as appropriate, and ensure records accurately reflect any restrictions of usage
- Take the lead in reporting: extract and analyse data relating to membership and usage as required and work with the Manager to analyse the data
- Support the preparation of management reports for leadership
- Support wider Board Relationship Programme team, and assist with tagging relevant subscriptions to client profiles in CRM
- Support annual Number Twenty membership review and update data discrepancies
- Be an active member of the team for continued development of systems to deliver best possible operational usage and reporting processes
- Be a conduit between Number Twenty facilities team and the BRP
- Manage the alumni membership process, performing necessary checks and processing the website requests.
- Helping to maintain alumni membership details and relationship owners
- Supporting the leavers experience and sign-up of new alumni members as they leave the firm.

- Ability to work with multiple data sources and comfortable with different systems
- Comfortable with changing priorities in a dynamic environment
- A natural curiosity
